Behold my master post about me, where you will get to know about my likes, dislikes, and what I am about. (I will edit it this in the future, so look out!) Link to picrew used in my pfp.

Who am I?:

I am @demigoddessofthetrees, you can call me DGT for short or whatever fun cooky name you can come up with. I use she/her and I am a godly trans woman >:) or at least I like to think I am and am demi/sapphic. I like to spend my free time dreaming of what I will look like when I'm on estrogen and when I finally be able to make my own decisions on how I dress myself. Also I am very neurodivergent as you will soon learn by going through this.

My Special interests:

DND - I am a DM and am currently running both a homebrew and The Wild Beyond the Witchlight Carnival

Gaming - I play Minecraft (many modpacks of my own creation), Hollow Knight, Cult of the Lamb, The Outer Worlds, Stardew Valley, Subnautica, Legend of Zelda Totk & Botw, Portal 1 & 2

DINOSAURS - OMG I LOOOOVEEEE Dinosaurs, please ask me literally anything about them and I might be able to answer them and if I'm not I will go and research it. Some of my favorites include Herrerasaurus, Spicomelus, any mega raptorid, and Amargasaurus

The best thing about transitioning has been the relief of no longer having to perform masculinity.

Lately, I've been reflecting on why I feel so much better. I'm just over a year and a half into my transition now. Even though I'm still pretty androgynous and spend a lot of time boymoding, I'm not really treated as a man anymore in any of my social circles. And when I do dress super femme (or atleast try too), I just feel like me. I've never felt more certain of who I am.

Now that I've allowed this feminine side of myself to exist openly, I realize it was always there. I just didn't have the words for it. It felt vague, distant, and difficult to grasp. It was buried so deeply beneath years of suppression that I couldn't see it clearly.

What I didn't realize was how much I hated performing masculinity.

Not just the expectations placed on men, but the role itself.

It felt like I'd been put into a box that never quite fit. A box everyone else seemed perfectly comfortable with. A box so normal that nobody questioned it. Everyone silently agreed that this was just how things were supposed to be, and if someone didn't fit inside it properly, people reacted with confusion, discomfort, or outright hostility.

For years I thought the problem was me.

Then one day I tripped, fell, and knocked the box over.

And suddenly—

Wait. There's more outside of this?

There's a whole world out here.

And honestly?

I'd rather stay here.

Because it turns out I wasn't comfortable in that box at all. I was suffocating in it. I just didn't realize it because I'd spent so long convincing myself that struggling to breathe was normal.

The freedom that came with stepping outside of it is difficult to describe.

Even when I encounter transphobia, I still feel lighter. The way I carry myself now is unmistakably queer. Most people read it as gay or feminine, or at the very least not traditionally masculine. And that alone brings me relief, because no matter how someone perceives me, I'm no longer being seen as a cis straight man.

And that's important because those were never things I was meant to be.

I spent so much of my life trying to force myself into an identity that wasn't mine, believing that if I just tried harder I'd eventually become comfortable with it.

I never did.

What I discovered instead is that living inauthentically drains you in ways you don't even notice. It becomes background noise. A constant exhaustion that you mistake for normal life because you've never known anything else.

Then one day it stops.

And you realize how heavy it all was.

I feel so free now.

I am slowly writing out the whole experience bc oh my god I kinda hate camping with my mom's friends but it was also fun at the same time!

One thing I can tell you though is that I remodeled a fire pit that had a fire in it while a dumb dumb 8th grader jumped over it!

I have been sorta swell IG Just having to write a lot of stuff about this conspiracy theory show about there being an Atlantis like civilization somewhere in the world (It's a whole thing, lots of racism included)

And then also finally dropping off some film rolls for development at my local shop (they've been sitting on my shelf for 10 months now lol) (And that shit cost me WAYYY too much, don't ask please, it hurts when I think about it) I'll post the photos when I get them back from the shop!

Then I recently got to go to prom and I wore a very pretty green dress! (Photos to come i think?)

i have been very obsessed with a music artist called Rabbitology! A new song came out the other week from her and I LOVE IT, it's called Magnanimity (Bigger Man) and it's so cool and has given me lots of book inspiration
