How episode 9 would go

So as an attempt to get back into writing this, I'm going to share how I think episode 9 of season one would go in my au. So as it goes, MK is training to be Sun wukongs successor, and he doesn't just have wukong as a mentor. Macaque tries his hand at teaching MK from time to time at the beginning and gradually starts teaching him more, but he and wukong have... different teaching styles. In this au, Wukong is a bit more attentive to MK and wants to take his training slow. Macaque wants to advance MKs training faster and show him stronger techniques. They butt heads on this which leads to MK not really learning anything because they're too busy arguing. MK gets really frustrated about this and events to Mei and Red about it individually. Mei suggests knocking some sense into the monkeys, which at this point is tempting. When he talks to Red the conversation is a bit more insightful, he knows through his parents that there was a time when the mates were separated after the battle against heaven and they didn't reunite for quite some time, MK asks why the traditional stories don't mention much about Macaque and Red unfortunately doesn't have an answer because his parents refuse to talk about it (and because of the amnesia). Red thinks they must have gotten into a fight like this before and suggests trying to talk to them individually to find a solution to his training problems. This fails because both monkeys also refuse to talk about it. This all culminates in MK once again sitting in front of two quarreling monkeys instead of actually training, and he gets so fed up that he yells at them, accidentally unlocking his super screech that I mentioned in the powers and inheritance post. Ground cracks, rocks fall, Macaques ears are now ringing, and it actually causes MK some physical pain along with freaking out about the ground cracking beneath him. This panic causes his latent shadow magic to start stirring, making him panic more, along with the two immortals who are trying to figure out what is happening to their kid. The briefly argue about how to handle this before actually snapping back into sense and working together to get close enough to MK to calm him down. After that they get MK inside and check his throat to make sure there's no serious damage and all sit down with tea and actually have a conversation together. Wukong and Macaque apologize for letting things get out of hand and agree to work on a proper training regiment together. So solves another problem for the monkey boys.
