This was a whole thread, here are some of my favourites:
Yer not ready for these (holy)hands, Little Mac!
Is this a problem?
The most terrifying part of having memory issues is when you can feel something from 5 seconds ago be thrown out the window and there's an empty hole where it once was. You remember that you forgot something.
Oh I hate when this happens. I end up trying to recount my train of thought because otherwise my awareness of the ‘lost’ memory makes my brain feel wrong.

what was your first horror game?
Resident Evil
Silent Hill
Fatal Frame
Dead Space
Outlast
The Evil Within
Alone in the Dark
Five Nights at Freddy's
An RPG maker game (Ib, The Witch’s House, Mad Father, etc.)
Something not listed (put in the tags!)
** These include all games in their respective series, so say if your first horror game was Resident Evil 4, then you'd vote for Resident Evil :)

This is going to haunt me for the next few days/weeks
Even though it ended how I was expecting, that didn’t lessen the pain.
Hold on, this is fascinating. Reblog this and tell me in the notes how old you are and if you ever had typing lessons.
What in God’s good name is a “typing lesson”
I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not
I’m serious what is a typing lesson? What would they teach you? To type? My brother in Christ it is like writing with a pen but technically easier.
Before home computers were very common, people typically only typed for business-related things, so the only people that actually knew how to use typewriters and word processors were authors, secretaries, accountants, etc. These people would take classes for typing bc it was seen as a skill. This gradually fell out of fashion, much like teaching kids cursive
Typing is only intuitive to gen y & z bc most of us learned through computer games or had someone tell us where to rest our fingers. People who never learned to type use just their index fingers, hit one key, take a long time to find the next letter, hit it with an index finger, and repeat until finished
34 i played this:
33 and i started with Mavis Beacon
24 and I had typing lessons all through school.
34, had typing lessons in 3rd and 4th grade and Mavis Beacon as a kid and I’ve still never used home row except when I was forced to. I type everything with my left hand. The only thing my right is for is using the shift, backspace, and enter keys.
I am 42 and I took keyboarding as an elective in 9th grade. I can type 70 words per minute.
Yeah I had Mavis Beacon both in school and at home
27 I don’t remember the name but there was a ghost in it?
28 and I was made to work on typing in elementary school, but don’t remember what the program was. Still never learned properly and just hover my hands to each side and press what I need mostly through muscles memory while looking. As a result I type a bit slow, though not nearly as bad as when I have to use a touch screen.
31. I was vaguely aware that typing was a skill some people put on CVs but never knew there were literal courses/classes for it. My primary school had two computers total so they didn't teach anything and at secondary school we just had IT classes where it was assumed we knew how to use a keyboard etc. so I never got any training on them. At least not that I can remember any.
My typing speed is alright but it is mostly muscle memory that falls apart the instant my brain starts actually thinking about where the keys are
