This is a sketch I drew by following a tutorial in the book “The Manga Artist’s Handbook” by Christopher Hart.

I traced a skeleton on the page so I could get the anatomy correct. And then looked back and forth in recreating the details and clothing.

Let’s Show Some Appreciation For Tim Drake & His Bo

Right from the beginning Tim’s weapon of choice was alway his bo.

He uses it masterfully against Batman’s most notorious rouges…

Run-of-the-mill Gotham criminals…

Or even the occasional supernatural opponent.

Tim’s uniform may change…

But not his love affair with the simple yet amazingly effective bo staff. So thank you to Tim’s Robin for proving that you don’t have to be big and bulky to kick butt!

Here’s a link to a video on my YouTube page. This is an original song that I wrote and performed my self. It’s from “Dragon Ball: The Musical” That’s right, I’m trying to turn Dragon Ball into a musical. My current plan is to base it off the Emperor Pilaf Saga where Goku and Bulma meet for the very first time. This particular song is simply titled, “Dragon Ball” the opening number performed by Bulma explaining what the Dragon Balls are and that she is looking for them. I hope you guys can watch it and tell me what you think of the song.

After DC killed off Jason Todd, Marv Wolfman was asked to come up with a new and different kind of Robin. He, in turn, went to Norm Breyfogle with the idea of modernizing the Robin-suit. By the late 1980s the sequined trunks and pixie boots that Dick Grayson had made famous (and poor Jason had to wear) were incredibly dated. Breyfogle loved the challenge and created these designs for Tim’s Robin uniform. You can see elements of what became Tim’s first look, and even a precursor of the really red suit Tim wore after Conner was killed.
