It's specifically Zionists that seem to have a problem with the term "Epstein Class" because they hate when we point out that Epstein had ties to many billionaires and used those ties to advance the interests of Israel.

I think where the trouble brews is the same as "cabal of billionaires". The term "epstein class" has been popping up as antisemitic conspiracy. "notice how pedophiles and sex pests have -stein in their last name. epstein. weinstein. where does that come from, huh?" "sinister wealthy elites" etc.

I do think this is one where we need to be a bit more careful about how this is being discussed. Gazillionaires laundering atrocity is not new nor a conspiracy but the way it gets discussed sometimes is.

98% of these conversations are based in reality, but sometimes there is a twist at the end that dramatically changes the implication.

It's also very similar to how people are realizing just how much is tied to Israel. How many partnerships there are. How many people are shaking hands. How many orgs are in symbiotic relationships over Israel. Then they conclude "oh Israel is controlling the US." Everything was true until the conclusion, which is how some "Epstein Class" conversations are happening.

Personally, I do not like referring to it as the epstein class at all for this reason. I think everything that falls under "epstein class" could be referred to with other terms that connect it back towards anti-capitalism, opposition to white supremacy, and genuine anti-zionism that keep it from steering towards "paid for by soros" levels of critique.

At worst its antisemitic conspiracy, at best I think it does what "alt-right" does and creates a vague notion of already well-defined action and ideology that allows for people to make horrid shit more palatable.

We put Juliet on a spinny chair, and pump it up as tall as it goes, and my baby, closeted lesbian ass crouches on the floor, ready to be as melodramatic as possible. Like, I’m about to do a rendition that makes William himself walk into the class and tell me to take it back a notch or twelve.

And then I look up.

And holy shit.

There she is, Juliet, haloed in the worst fluorescent light known to mortals across the globe. Light just streaming down around her, that weird off-green colour that it always is. Before you make a joke about 'getting that man pregnant' or about male pregnancy in general, ask yourself:

Would this joke be funny if it was about a woman?

If it would feel like sexual harrassment, then congratulations, it's not a joke, it is just sexual harrassment.

If it would just be misogynistic (ie framing pregnancy as a sign of weakness/submissiveness, as a punishment, ect), then it is not only regular misogynistic but also treats trans men and mascs experiences as inherently feminine.

If there would be no joke at all, then the existence and experiences of trans men and mascs is the punchline. I hope you can see the problems with that.
