Heres the thing you gotta understand about statistics. 

“Increases your chances by 80%” does not mean “there is now an 80% chance”. 

If your chances were previously 10%, your chances are now 18%, not 90%. 

if your chances were roughly 1%, they’re now just slightly less than 2%. 

thats how that works.

Emergency commissions!

Alright, I’m going to cut to the chase; I need money for a dying cat that isn’t even mine. Meet Poppy:

I found her in a ditch in someone’s backyard that I was cutting through, taking my brother to the park. She could only move her head, she was panting and drooling, and obviously in a lot of pain and very distressed. I braved the claws of a stray cat to get her into a cage, and straight to the vet. I wasn’t able to take photos on day one, but she doesn’t look any better and it’s been two days.

The low-down is that, despite being an adult/senior, she weighs five pounds, and potentially has a few broken bones and/or fractures, because she’s either been hit by a car or beaten ( around here, people aren’t nice to cats ). Her throat ‘flails’ when she breathes, sort of like a frog, and she still can’t really move except her head. The head trauma is so bad that she’s ( hopefully temporarily ) partially blinded –caused by inflammation in the head.

She’s on a lot of steroids, antibiotics, and pain killers, which is costing me a LOT. I wouldn’t mind it, but i already own and care for three special needs cats and although I plan on adopting Poppy, I’d like to get this payment out of the way.
