the man who owns and runs the thai restaurant in my town knows me by name. he is one of the kindest and most thoughtful men i know. i started ordering from his place back in january, which was when i got my fibromyalgia diagnosis. back then i was using a walker, had limited mobility in my entire body but especially my hands, and was very visibly in pain. i always ordered the same thing: yellow curry with no meat, potatoes and carrots only (i have texture and other dietary issues). he always made it a point to make sure i could get out the door and carry the food safely. he had his workers package the food so that it was easier for me to open. as i kept coming back and i told him a little bit about my health status, he would always encourage me to keep going. he told me about how the spices he used were good for inflammation and began to edit the recipe just for me so that spices that were even better for fighting inflammation were used. he’d give me extra portions and despite the fact that i would tip every time, i realized later that he never charged my card for them. as time went on and my condition began to get better, especially with the help of a physical therapist, he would make encouraging remarks and tell me how happy he was for me. the day i came in without my walker, he practically jumped for joy, and despite my insistence, he gave me my meal for free that day. i continue to make progress with my conditions and i continue to go to the thai place. this man who does not know me personally and who i hardly know anything about is one of my favorite people. it’s interactions with humans like these that make loving life easier. and his curry really does help my chronic condition. it’s comfort food taken to the next level.

Did you know that the target audience for Farming Simulator is actual real-world farmers? Because I didn’t. I just assumed that farmers probably don’t want to go home from a day of farming to do some (presumably highly inaccurate) virtual farming?

Like, imagine if the target audience for Power Washing Simulator was actual professional power washers.

And then he sent out a link to a “Survey” and you downloaded a file from a random website called SURVEYPROGRAM and then opened it up and it asked you to make a character. And then the character got thrown away. And then it was Deltarune. And like. It was a fucking ride none of you will get to experience this

What gets me is that Toby made the Deltarune site back before Undertale came out, and the only reason we know that is that he uploaded it to Wayback Machine himself.

Like before October 2018, there were seemingly no hits and no site traffic or searches for Deltarune dot com.

But. I mean, if you look at the history, as some redditors did.

The site itself goes back to july 2016, and at that point, all that was on it was. “Him.png”

The original version of Him.png itself is from 2015, and is just “this next experiment seems very very interesting” in wingdings.

Then in December 2016 it got updated so him.png said “"THREE HEROES APPEARED TO BANISH THE ANGELS HEAVEN” still in wingdings.

But the images are so dark (darker than dark) that they just look like black pngs until you fuck with the contrast and brightness and stuff.

(I can see some of the wingdings on the first one if I turn the brightness on my phone all the way up)

And, I mean, it seems like nobody would have known any of these things because by the time anybody cared about deltarune or was looking for Deltarune dot com, it was 2018. So Toby or Temmie or somebody bought the domain name and was making dark pngs in 2015 to 2016. And then put it on Wayback machine for people to find 2 years later.

Deltarune fans when the Kris carries their comatose friend from the library all the way to the hospital after being the one forced to give the order that caused him to be in this condition by an otherworldly being, only to get brought back to the hospital by the same entity as if to mock them, but uses this opportunity to care for him, and this potentially being the last time they ever see him before they drown in the lake, and having to deal with the knowledge that Berdly's last thoughts about them were that they were hurting the person he cares for most in the world:

so it seems to me Flowery may have been calling Susie out here for having intrusive thoughts:

he asks her what she was willing to do, not what she did, and Ralsei has to reassure her she's "good".

which is kind of supported by how she responds to "hearing" the dialogue choicer. She reacts like she can "hear" it, but gets a bit uneasy and then just does something else, which is pretty much never what the choicer actually suggested.

it's like she's used to not acting on thoughts like "do something crazy". She turned it around into a hypothetical question for Noelle instead.

but despite that she might think that having those thoughts makes her a bad person in some ways.

Now...how do you think that might impact how she reacts the revelation that Kris is dealing with something pretty similar to what she does?
