However, the media seemed to forget about this controversy, treating him with kid gloves throughout the primary season and helping to bolster the narrative that he is the de-facto Democratic nominee, granting him millions upon millions of dollars worth of positive airtime after the political establishment coalesced around him to try and stop Senator Bernie Sanders from winning the nomination.

As the corporate media and establishment Democrats continue telling us that Biden is the official nominee, even though the Democratic National Convention isn’t for another several months, a new allegation has been levied at the former vice president:

Joe Biden has been credibly accused of rape.

The allegation comes from Tara Reade, a former member of Biden’s Senate staff. Reade unveiled last year that she was a victim of Biden’s sexual harassment in the early 1990's, however, she declined to provide further detail due to the attacks she sustained as a result of telling a part of her story. Conspiracy theorists were even conjuring up fake stories about Reade being a Russian asset.

More recently, Reade decided that it was time for her to tell the full story. She sought the assistance of Time’s Up, a #MeToo organization that provides support for sexual assault victims, however, they declined to represent her because her accusation was against a federal candidate for office, thus allegedly threatening their non-profit status. Of course, not only does this excuse hold no merit, but it seems like an obvious attempt to protect Biden."

I have always been partial to stories which feature the removal of many layers of clothing as an important plot element. One of my favorite Scandinavian folktales is about a queen who, through some magical conception mishap, gives birth to twins. The younger twin is beautiful and normal in every way, but the older twin is just. Y’know. A big horrible snake with arms.

When the younger twin grows up and wants to get married, the lindworm returns and insists that he, as the elder prince, must be married first. When a massive horrible snake with arms lays down the law like that there isn’t really any room for disagreement, but it turns out to be awfully hard to find a bride willing to marry him. The king and queen search far and wide for a woman who will take a husband who is 50 feet long, doesn’t have legs, and may or may not eat his would-be wives when they are appalled by him, but eventually they find a local shepherd’s daughter who is either coerced, a monsterfucker, or just very open-minded and agrees to marry the lindworm.

Depending on the version, the bride either seeks out the advice of a witch or comes up with the idea all by herself, and goes to the bedchamber on her wedding night dressed in many layers of dresses. Her big horrible snake with arms husband is waiting for her and bids her to disrobe, but she asks him to shed a skin as well. Her sexy Russian nesting doll cosplay has so many layers that by the time she is naked, he has shed all of his skins and is 1.) either a sexy naked human dude underneath or 2.) is this meaty blob of helpless worm meat that must be whipped and bathed in chemicals before he transforms into a sexy naked human dude. Either way, they presumably live happily ever after and the younger prince can finally get married.

I’d like to know how the elder prince adjusted to having a human body. He was born a lindworm and lived his entire life slithering around—he’s never worn pants! He’s never had to sit on a toilet! What’s he gonna do now that he’s a sexy 20-something heir to the throne? Is it a shock for him when he looks down and he’s just got one sexual organ? His butt is in the back now, he’s got to shave, he’s got to eat with a fork and a knife and chew his food instead of unhinging his jaw and swallowing it whole.... is it weird for him? Is his honeymoon spent learning to walk on two legs? Is his instinct to crawl out of bed and drag himself across the floor by his arms? Does he roll onto his back and play dead when he gets scared? Does he wrap his torso around his lunch and attempt to constrict it? Is his wife... into this?

so due to the coronavirus the state govt in Michigan decided to turn on all water for detroit and cover the first month free and make the billing for every month after only $25, at least until the pandemic dies down.

for those that don’t know, detroit has been suffering from water shutoffs so bad the UN had to step in and declared it a violation of human rights in 2014. the residents are still having their water shutoff because they can’t pay their bills which oh, just so happen to be purposefully extremely expensive. because the water is being shutoff (the residents literally cannot afford these stupidly gouged prices the city is forcing on them in an effort to kick them out) CPS is stepping in and taking kids away from parents because they “can’t provide a safe and healthy home environment” on top of other horrors they face. can you imagine not being able to take a shower at home? flush the toilet? do the dishes? water is ESSENTIAL for life

but, almost as if it’s nothing, the state govt decided in the past week to take charge of all the shutoffs and turn it back on and provide the first month free and a $25 bill. almost as if its nothing.

I absolutely don’t support Biden, and I will be doing my level best to ensure he isn’t the nominee, but I would sure as shit rather have him than Trump. I wouldn’t fear that Biden’s going to kick off a war because he feels like no one takes him seriously. I wouldn’t worry about Biden stripping my rights away simply because I say I think he’s doing a shit job. I wouldn’t cringe every single time I see a news clip, wondering what new national embarrassment is about to unleash itself. With Biden, we aren’t going to get the push for the things we know we need, like Medicare For All, but we also won’t get all the shit we know we do NOT need, like an authoritarian president who sucks up to dictators while he actively harms Americans with his policies.

Biden may hurt me through neglect. Trump seeks to hurt me through action. If I absolutely must choose between the two alternatives, I’ll take the first every time. And if you don’t vote, then you’re helping achieve the second, and believe me, all of us who are hurt through Trump’s actions? We will remember this. We will remember you. And we will never let you forget it.

Decisions are made by those who show up. Don’t listen to this shit - put your big kid pants on and deal. VOTE. VOTE BLUE, then put the pressure on your reps and senators to make the change we all want and need.
