it’s so sad that disney cancelled the show and the creators were forced to cram so many incredible scenes into a short montage. each of these could’ve been beautiful full length episodes.

also i want to add that the neurodivergent representation in episode 1 was amazing. not only did they represent it by making the ♾ sticker apparent on Luz’s laptop, but Luz’s neurodivergence was a key component of her backstory. her entire childhood of not fitting in and struggling with the school system shaped who she is now. it’s something that i think many of us on the autism spectrum or with other neurodiverse conditions relate to. and it was so validating and gratifying to see Luz be loved and accepted by her (found) family today.

If I remember correctly it eventually got out.

Apparently this was a rehearsal for the scene, so the extinguisher was a prop one (hence the moment Miranda sassy looks at the camera/crew for how he was acting her in panic), so they went on to it.

But someone had switched the extinguisher to the actual fire thrower that would be used on the scene (I dont remember if was proposital or not or simply a mistake because they were meant to be identical).

So this is their actual reaction, cause when he pressed the valve, he really wasnt expecting to fire come out, neither was Miranda, so their reaction is 100% genuine and they did freak out as on tape.

The thing went out so well they were unable to reenact their reactions or surprise as the first time on rehearsal, so the rehearsal scene was kept and put it into the actual episode.

I still think about every person I’ve ever been in a relationship with. It’s hard for me to forget feelings I have/had for people. I’m the kind of person that is always going to miss people from my life, even if I shouldn’t. I check in on the lovely lady every once in a while, but the whole situation ended kind of badly, so I try not to bring up bad feelings. I miss being in A relationship, but I don’t miss the dynamic that particular relationship had. And I’m learning to love myself without other people. I’d like to think that the girl might miss me, at least as a friend, bc we started as friends and bc I do miss her a lot. I’ve pretty much isolated myself for the last few years and especially the last few months, but I still miss every friend I’ve ever had.

Didn’t PPG have a villain that was specifically meant to mock feminists as man haters that use feminism to harm others?

They did and if you watch the whole episode you see the PPG get tricked into letting the villain committ crime out of female solidarity.

Then several women step in to talk to the PPG about how the villain is using feminism as a scapegoat to get away with toxic and criminal behavior. And how what the villain is doing isnt actually feminist at all.

Like that episode was very good about addressing toxic behaivor from people who are supposedly woke or whatever.

An episode a lot of Tumblr should watch given the rampant radfem and terf ideology that gets spread on here.
