Your Elros is finally finished ✨✨✨ young king Elros was probably a hot mess, he had to be with descendants like his. The design is half though out and pretty much just the first idea I went with. I like royal purples for him using a lot of influence from Byzantine/ancient Egypt and Rome.

the lyrics are from the song Sieben Raben by Faun, which is based on the german fairytale Die sieben Raben (the seven ravens), that I think really fits the sons of fëanor

Rough translation:

I sat way to long on this stupid joke. It was worth it for the opportunity to draw Elrond alone, he is so beautiful to draw. I also want to point out that Elrond is wearing one of Maedhros old bracelets. The blonde lady is my sister's OC Ancaladis, she is a friend of Celebrían an mother of Legolas.

Finrod by Menelya

March will be dedicated to Finrod, a character from the Silmarillion that our team holds dear.

We begin with a Finrod cosplay by Menelya, inspired by the Russian rock opera "Lay of Leithian" (Легенда о Берене и Лютиень Лэ о Лэйтиан). This outfit is based on the early performances’ stage costume of Finrod (2021 - 2022).

A message from Menelya: Finrod is my most beloved character from Tolkien's legendarium. When I discovered the existence of this rock opera about a year ago, I was pleasantly surprised by the whole adaptation, and especially by the delightful performance of Alexandr Richkov as Finrod. The reason I chose to make the early version’s costume is the cheerful and optimistic approach of the role of Finrod, which I find ideal! I faced lots of difficulties in the costume-making procedure this time, but eventually I'm happy with the result, and even more happy that I had the chance to cosplay as my favorite character!

...However, just one Finrod is not enough, so stay tuned!
