Is this how you roll?
i think a MAJOR MAJOR thing i adore about you and i are polar opposites is the emphasis on friendship as well
like i LOVE the romance we see
but i adore that friendship is important and major as well
i don’t have the words for this right now but the girl friendships are so well done, the guy friendships are so healthy, and the overall friend group is so good together
fanfic writers who type their works directly onto ao3 instead of copy-and-pasting from elsewhere have no fear. fear fears them.
people...actually write on seperate apps?? that's so extra bro just write it onto ao3 and save as a draft occasionally so as not to lose any writing
respectfully, it’s not “extra” (all you have to do is copy and paste).
ao3 literally advises that people copy-and-paste their works from elsewhere and to NOT write directly onto the site.
because unless and until it’s posted, ao3 does NOT back up works for you. meaning if your screen crashes, if the site glitches, if your wifi stops working, or if you lose power — anything — you risk losing the whole thing you’ve written.
sure, you can technically save drafts on ao3 (up to 30 days, if memory serves me right), but it’s still not something most writers do. most writers copy and paste their own works from elsewhere onto ao3 prior to posting (I say this with respect, this is a common sense).
store your works elsewhere, keep them safe, then copy-and-paste them onto ao3 once they’re ready.
i support universal free healthcare for one simple reason: if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness you should quit your job. quitting your job is the correct response to terminal illness. but you can’t do that if your healthcare is tied to your job
listen if somebody knows that they will be dead in a years time, and you are forcing them to continue to come into work, that’s fucked up. terminally ill people should be able to quit their jobs and live their last few months to the fullest. i don’t get how that’s a controversial opinion

This is not just serious illness.
It’s any illness.
No one should be forced to work if they have the flu, or even a cold.

the aftermath
1) Cooked sirloin steaks (the small ones) for the first time listening to some YouTube advice and they turned out decent! Definitely not something I'm doing on the regular cuz it's beef which means more expensive and plus it was a miracle I didn't trigger the fire alarms.
2) Sewed on and off for seven hours give or take. I have the rows for the front of the quilt square done; I'll spend the week sewing together said rows before cutting out the piece for the back. This really is a spontaneous labor of love. Definitely resting my hands after I finish this post. XP
Also made a mistake on one square and had to rearrange it and it thankfully works out for the final design.
