so my thoughts on the whole posters thing is that if the colours mean anything, i think it's just that the pink are lestat and his muses, and the yellow are everyone else. louis, magnus, gabriella, and nicki we all know for a fact are lestat's muses. larry, tc, and baby could very easily also fit into that category

while i'd like to think it actually has something to do with team lestat vs. team armand, the character choices they made for the posters really don't give that kind of theory much sense or credit

I don't understand why people absolve Lestat of his participation on the trial.

He saved Louis, but that doesn't change that Mister ✨️ A Have The Blood of Akasha In Me 🌈 chose to passively watch his daughter burn to death in the sun. Like Louis keeps saying, Lestat crossed an ocean to rehearse and act in a play to kill his daughter. He could have tried to save them both or warn them of what was going to happen or refused to participate at all or... something!

At least in the books he was badly injured, but in the show he looks at least mostly healed. Idk, Armand being a liar doesn't change Lestat's actions to me

(Not hating on him, just to be clear. I love Lestat and I think he regrets it and is truly devastated and grieving Claudia's death. Ffs, I cried listening to Stained Glass Eyes. I just don't think that means he didn't take part on her murder)

I unironically enjoy Big Bad Wolf. Melody, the half mocking half sarcastic tone, the lyrics, the voices, the CrAShOuT, the SNARL at the end of it, TC’s desperate ‘woah woah? The night’s for sale?..’ - everything!

And since I’ve been humming it under my breath for the whole week and have been waiting for its release since NY live, and now having it with the context and the CrAsHoUt, I’m thinking: why is it such an earworm.

And now I think i finally have my answer: it is the gradient towards the cRaShOuT and its crescendo. It is actually pretty liberating when someone crashes out, when you wanted to do it for a long time, even if your reasons for it are different (I don’t want a job, I wanna die).

I love this music.
