Please help us care for these cats! Reblogs are greatly appreciated!!!
Currently, we are caring for 17 cats at our house. We have also been bringing food and water to cats in need around town. Every stray cat that comes up to our house, we take care of, especially if theyāre kittens. We do live in town, but in a secluded area, so cats and many random animals come up to eat and drink. It is a very good place for cats to run around and be safe from the streets.
Although, since weāve been taking care of so many rescue animals, and the numbers keep increasing, weāre running low on money. We struggle to pay the bills quite often, and usually canāt afford lots of nice things. Right now, we pay over $400 per month on just cat litter and cat food. This doesnāt even include the water costs, dog food, shots, flea treatments, dewormer, and vet visits. If we were to add that in, it would most likely be close, or over, $1000 to do everything for them on time. You also have to count in our own groceries, so as you can tell, the costs have been adding up like crazy.
We are about to take in 5 more kittens. They are in critical need of help. If we arenāt able to care of them immediately, then they will most likely die. As is, we can care for them, but our money will run out quickly. With adding 5 more, the costs will go up a great amount. None of them are old enough to be spayed/vaccinated either, which will cost about $160 per cat. That equals up to $800. And depending on whatās wrong with them, it could cost a tremendous amount to take care of them as well.
All of these kittens are very playful, and are very good kitties. They even know how to use a catbox already! Theyāre all bundles of joy, and need people who are willing to give them good care. So if you live in the Childress, Texas, area, and are interested in taking a new kitten, please let me know so that we can figure out how many of them will need homes after weāve fixed them up. And if anyone has any questions, Iād be happy to answer.
If we donāt get help soon, we may not be able to give them the care they need! We donāt want to see any animal die, so weāre going to do our best to help them. If anyone could donate, even the smallest amount will help us!
Currently, we have our goal set to $1000. It will at least be enough to let us get by for a while, but Iām hoping over time we can raise more.
