>Rhodes alerts the Avengers that all countries with nuclear weapons are dealing with cyber-attacks masterminded by Ultron, and that he’s being deployed to the Middle East to monitor the situation and prevent tensions from escalating. Stark creates a new encryption pattern for the War Machine armor so Ultron can’t hijack it.
>The Twins return to Sokovia and begin stealing supplies to give to the impoverished masses. While distributing medicine to the poor, they’re approached by a young boy who says “the Iron Man” is waiting for them at the church. Arriving there, they find Ultron waiting for them.
>When the Avengers confront Ultron and the Twins at Ulysses Klaue’s shipyard, Ultron complains that the world is not good enough it doesn’t need the Avengers, but not bad enough they actually try to change it, and only if “something breaks” on a grand scale will the human race outgrow their selfishness and change things for the better.
>More on the rivalry between Hawkeye and Quicksilver, with Quicksilver mentioning Hawkeye is so irrelevant that Ultron and them didn’t even factor him in their strategies to defeat the Avengers. Quicksilver also mocks Hawkeye as being too old and too slow in all their encounters.
>Extended version of Thor’s vision. After the temple collapses, Thor is approached by Loki, and they discuss Thor’s failure to defend the Nine Realms and the inevitability of the end while the dead Asgardians are being shepperd into Hel. Loki mocks Odin’s tone of speech during the conversation.
>Wanda brainwashing Banner into becoming the Hulk and rampaging in Johannesburg.
>Quicksilver hitting on any attractive woman he sees throughout the movie.
>At Hawkeye’s farm, Hawkeye’s wife complains about a tool shed Hawkeye never finishes because he’s always off with the Avengers. During the ending montage, he’d be seen finishing it.
>Alternative version of the bedroom scene in which Banner rejects Black Widow completely.
>Thor explains to Selvig that the mystice waters of the cave are a way to communicate with the Norns. He dives in and is possessed by them. Selvig then has to question them about Thor’s vision and decipher their cryptic answers based on his knowledge of Asgardian culture.
>Stark calls the Twins “Flowers in the Attic”, and they don’t understand the reference. Wanda says it sounds lovely, Hawkeye quips “trust me, it isn’t”.
>Extended fight between Thor and the Vision after the Vision is brought to life.
>Extended version of Banner infiltrating Ultron’s fortress to rescue Black Widow. She then uses Chitauri weapons that Baron Strucker had salvaged to fight off the Ultron drones.
>Alternative version of Black Widow bringing out the Hulk by pretending to have toyed with Banner’s emotions in order to put the Hulk on a leash and mocking him for thinking she could actually love him.
>Hawkeye policing the Twins throughout the Battle of Sokovia. At one point, he coaches them in how to more effectively use their powers to battle the Ultron drones.
>At one point, Thor is set on fire by an Ultron drone, and Quicksilver runs around him to quell by flames by cutting off the oxygen.
>Extended version of the Battle of Sokovia with more more action beats.
>Under Banner’s influence, the Hulk specifically programs the Quinjet to fly into Space in order to commit suicide, and actually reaches the upper stratosphere and sees stars.
>Captain America and Iron Man are at odds throughout the movie and part on less amicable terms.
>Alternative ending where Quicksilver survives due to Dr. Cho’s medical technology and joins the Avengers alongside Scarlet Witch.
WHY WAS MOST OF THIS STUFF CUT?! THERE WERE SO MANY ODD EDITS AND JUMPS THAT MAKE SO MUCH SENSE NOW THAT WE KNOW THESE SCENES WERE MISSING!!!
Now the movie makes a lot more sense!!! Why did they delete so many of these scenes?! I just don’t get it.
