It's been six years since I decided to transition. Since I decided I would become someone I'd enjoy being, or die trying.

Five years ago, I had my name and legal gender changed.

Four years ago, I started hormone treatments.

Three years ago, I ended my studies, to become a fulltime videogame streamer.

Two years ago, I hit my lowest point.

One year ago, I had surgery.

Two months ago, I finally started living alone for the first time.

And today... Today I just had a great day. A perfectly peaceful day. Nothing especially fantastic happened. But for today, I truly felt happy and content. With who I am, and where I am, and what it took to get here.

And no matter what happens from now on, no one can take that away.
