some quick bits & bobs
I do tend to ramble. I also take an interesting in a great many things. A very incomplete list would be: languages, websites, poetry, music, arts & crafts, programming, accessibility, free + open source software, webcomics. My go-to smiley is 🙃.
I am currently looking for a native Finnish speaker to ask some questions about language and culture!
You can always ask me:
for help with HTML/CSS formatting, especially on AO3,
for help with understanding difficult bits of German, especially lyrics or poetry,
about the long form, five part Witch Door fanfiction that I'm writing. I am looking for alpha/beta readers!
Also please absolutely shout at me with your favourite untranslatable bits of lyrics or poetry or idioms or puns or what-have-you in Turkish or Irish!!
Fandom-agnostic beta reading:
I'm on the NeedABeta file as well. I may not always have the time to commit to longer projects, but I actually 🧡love🧡 correcting things and giving detailed feedback on a piece of writing. We will need to agree on my level of nitpicking 😉 but I can do anything from broad strokes discussions of where you want your story to go, to debugging where you're stuck, to looking over the nitty gritty details of tonality, grammar, punctuation, and formatting on AO3. Just ask!
Some possibly interesting tags:
my wip snippets
witch moon ramblings (very mixed bag, anything where I've written more than three sentences)
how to ao3 (some reblogs, some tips & tools I've come up with myself)
how to tumblr (same)
Fandoms I guess:
Dreamling fanfiction (haven’t watched Sandman though, read the comics decades ago),
Dead Boy Detectives,
and of course The Witch Door.
Find me elsewhere: I’m on AO3 and Sharkey (the latter isn’t really working for me though, but I do hang out on the Fediverse). I don’t really use other social media much (not even Pinterest any more really, but that’ll return with a vengeance with some hyperfixation or other probably).
