Another update on the yiling wei sect fic, I think I'm gonna let a buffer build before I start posting and I have a real idea if the plot. If I want to write, I will create something I can be proud of with my own mind and hands because it's fun.

Jin Guangshan isn't above using his children as tools, so he could have made Mo Xuanyu follow an unorthodox path in private. Mo Xuanyu was also often secluded from the reat of the sect and thus could have successfully been cultivating the demonic path without anyone knowing.

Does Xue Yang have a reason to interact with him? Maybe, but it is possible.

Does Xue Yang have and overarching longing for connection that is vital to his character? Yeah.

Is Mo Xuanyu a near perfect candidate for a source of connection in this context? YEAH.

Additionally the image of Jin Guangyao supervising these two distaster gays on their corpse research date is really funny.
