You know when you read something and you're just like "God I wish I was reading this for the first time again." Not necessarily because there was an interesting twist that ruins the book if you know it, but just because you want to experience the emotions for the first time again?
People always assume that it's billionaire playboy Bruce is the one corrupting the innocent farmboy Clark. But no, it's the opposite. Clark fucks Bruce in ways that most people, including Bruce, couldn't possibly imagine even in their wildest, wettest fantasies.
Guhhhhh thinking about Bruce being a Superman fanboy hehe. He has like five bajillion figures and some posters and plushies and stuff. He won't let Clark into his bedroom for forever even after they start dating and Clark thinks it's just one of Bruce's Things about vulnerability but actually he's just really embarrassed.
I think Bruce would have a huge (life-size maybe but also maybe not, just... Big enough to do this) plush of Superman that he'd cuddle with at night. And he totally kisses it and pretends he's being held by the REAL Superman hehe. He fantasizes about getting saved by Superman and getting kissed and held and laying back in bed all shaky while his savior hovers over him, praising him and making him all teary-eyed and shaky without even doing anything.
And once he and Clark get close it only gets worse, like he is sooooo daydreaming about this it's like a thing. He's obsessed. Also he kinda hates himself for it because he thinks he's a creep or a predator or whatever because of his stupid "hopeless" celebrity crush and the fact that he's being parasocial over his best friend XD. But Clark thinks it's cute once he finds out and is all for fulfilling Bruce's various fantasies <3

Clark is 100% taking advantage of this fact, he's buying Bruce more superman merch, covering Bruce in his clothes, in his emblem. Because Bruce is his and it gives Clark massive satisfaction every time he sees Bruce covered in Superman's colours and marks. It literally changes his brain chemistry.
He's doing everything Bruce fantasized about him, praising him and waxing poetry about Bruce, about how wonderful he is and how Clark doesn't mind this at all in fact he loves it, he loves Bruce's admiration and he would always make sure to hold himself at such a standard so Bruce can continue to admire him.
Bruce is just a giggling and blushing shy mess because of it.
We love bird/posessive Clark. Clark is definitely doing greater and stronger feats just to impress his #1 fan. And he gets stronger in the process too so its a win-win. Bruce being left absolutely flushed from Superman defeating some otherworldly being that tried to take over earth (why does this keep happening) because Superman decided to tease him and wink at him mid punch.
But i can also see this Bruce also getting possessive of Clark once hes fully understood and embraced the fact that Clark is his and only his. He makes sure everyone knows that he is the one that can make the strongest being on earth, maybe the universe, weak at the knees. Someone's a bit too touchy with Bruce's boyfriend? He makes sure to grab Clark's arm and lean against him. Maybe he'll figure a way to mark him too. But Bruce will get embarrassed and shy later on and refuse to admit what he did.
Or what is Bruce was really obsessed with Clark? To the point where he turns evil to get with him and threatens people close to Clark and any dates Clark goes on because he's Clark's biggest fan and none of them were worthy of him. Add in older Clark with tons of experience and younger Bruce thats so inspired by him? Clark taking him under his wing and slowly corrupting him and using Bruce's idolization of Clark against him.
God i love this idea so much.

I don't know which is better, Clark and Bruce adopting a bunch of kids together and raising them together or batkids protecting their mama and his purity from big bad stepdad Clark. Or both. Both is good.

The sky was a dainty blue, fragile, as it seemed like a storm could break through the peace at any moment. Though there wasn't much of the sky to see. This was the only spot in the whole city, hell, maybe the world where you could see the sky. And how beautiful it was to watch, all of its shifting colors that give every sky piercer around hints of orange and red as its radiant light hits the window at the right angle. It's spontaneous tantrums that leave its tears falling down to the earth. And you cannot forget the bright ball of pure light; so pure a light it is that you cannot look at it or your eyes will burn.
Oh how I wish the sky was everywhere, wish it would fill the whole world with its awe inspiring emotion. Oh how I would love to live in a world with a sky so vast every person in the world could be able to enjoy its beauty. But as it is now, I am content that at least this small 5 meter gap exists between the "SUPPORT YOUR COUNTRY" sign written in big, flashing letters, impossible to ignore, and the other screen for Big Capital's most recent version of its bot. "No need for a wife with this NEW and IMPROVED Gobot 21. Get now for 20% off!" It was in a soft cursive font that only those that could afford the bot could read.
I look over at the time screen just a few spots over, realizing how late it was. Dusting off my new sreek, I stand up and walk over to the sidewalk. Sometimes I do enjoy partaking in lower class activities like walking for very short distances even if it is scandalous. I lift the bottom of my sreek up so it doesn't touch the sidewalk and pause a moment as the sidewalk wobbles slightly. It appeared I had accidentally stepped right on the hand supporting the tile I was on.
When all you've eaten is two spoonfuls of Greek yogurt in a day and your stomach has the audacity to protest. Like girl shut up, I'm too lazy to go to the kitchen now.

I wish I knew people irl who liked comics and Superbat just as much as I do without having to sit in the corner of my local comic book store and talk to people (mostly men) who are like twice my age. I don't want to talk to boys who think I won't understand or have never read a comic and treat me as if just because I'm a girl, I cant enjoy comics.
Like I wanna nerd out about Batman and symbolism so bad. And show people the literal essays I have written about various comics and movies. I wanna discuss symbolism and the evolution of characters from their original forms.
I want to talk about how Superman was used as propaganda for WW2 and parallels between Luthor and people in the real world and what exactly it means.

There needs to be more weird Kryptonian biology added to fics. I want to see the most absurd behaviour from Clark.
Just think about the possibilities.
He could eat rocks, simply because he enjoys the texture. Most rocks don’t have a taste to him, but he particularly likes the crunch of harder things, like diamonds or basalt.
He could create warm nooks around the fortress/manor/his apartment for comfort when he’s scared, or much like a bird, when he’s stressed. Bonus points for dragging any child within grasp into it for security, whether it be his child, a robin, or even Krypto when nobody’s around.
He could follow obscure mating rituals that even he’s unaware of without the assistance of Jor-El. He doesn’t understand why he feels the need to be bright and flashy in Bruce’s presence, but he knows that if his cape isn’t as brilliant as possible, he stands no chance to win the bat’s heart.
I guess, what I’m trying to say, is that kryptonians in my heart should behave like freaky birds.
And once bruce studies the fuck out of it, he’s enough of a freak that he really likes it.

Small things in fanfics that take me out of the immersion immediately:
- "Bruce Wayne does NOTHING for Gotham except being Batman" <- lies and slander of my good man's name
- Clark Kent delivering mediocre journalism (especially when he's in his mid 30s or older and has experience. Bumbling reporter who?)
- Bruce being ignorant to things happening with his kids
- Tim taking over as CEO for Bruce (???? Where why what?)
- Superman not knowing Robin well into the League years
- Coffee drinker Tim Drake
- Alfred being a Saint
- The Red Hood is the protector of Crime Alley (Batman who?)
- No Metas in Gotham
- Damian calling Jason his favorite brother (specifically when it's justified by saying that Jason understands Damian's violence. No tf he doesn't?)
- Dick resenting Bruce for making him Robin (be so fr rn.)
- "Bruce doesn't tell his children he is proud of them" <- insert montage of Bruce saying exactly that
- Batman 'taking his frustration out on the criminals of Gotham' (please no??????)
- Bruce not knowing how to interact with/take care of kids, especially after the introduction of Dick (this ain't his first rodeo)
- Perfect Older Brother Dick Grayson (actually perfect siblings in general)
- Cass knowing ASL but not knowing how to speak
All this and when Bruce has NO interests besides being Batman. Especially when it's not year one Batman. Or when people make Batman perfect in every way possible. Like no he's not.
Or when any form of Batman who isn't compassionate and caring for everyone. His villains, his sons, strangers, and friends. That pisses me off so much.
