The Noblewomen of Mandalore
Duchess Satine Kryze of House Kryze
Princess Bo-Katan Kryze of House Kryze
Countess Ursa Wren of Clan Wren, House Vizsla
Lady Rook Kast of House Kast
all of these women make me feel so violent
something about how anakin describes his love for padmé as starfire in the RotS novel. and how even stars die yet, anakin—the most luminiscent star of them all—didn't, even when enveloped by total darkness.
because the starfire of his love was eternal—unextinguishable.
because even though the dark is patient, and generous, and it always wins, in the heart of its strength lies its weakness; a lone candle is enough to hold it back.
love is more than a candle. love can ignite the stars.
something about how both Anakin and Padme were stars in their own right. and their love for each other transcended the whole galaxy of stars.
something about the thematic thread of stars and the power of one's heart.
"The strongest stars have hearts of kyber."
— Chirrut Îmwe, Rogue One.
something about Shmi telling Anakin a Tatooine myth/legend because she saw the powerful connection and capacity he had to Love.
"The sun-dragon lives inside a star, guarding everything it loves and treasures. It guarded them through the fire and flame, always keeping them safe. It could persevere through anything, even life within a star itself. Because the sun-dragon has the biggest heart in the galaxy, a furnace of flames powerful enough to protect everything and everyone it loves. The strongest heart—stronger than the heart of a star."
— Mike Chen, Brotherhood
i think there is a statue of grace. on the campus of the university where he got his phd. it's a big base, like the statue atop it is going to be a larger than life hero standing brave. but instead it is him, life size, sitting with his feet dangling off the edge and turned slightly to the side like he is in conversation.
there is room to sit next to him. students like to hop up and sit next to dr. grace to get advice, vent, just take a minute. he's a friend to all on campus
what doesn’t kill me leaves a pit in my stomach that never goes away
reblog if it's okay for your mutuals to message you and create an actual friendship, not just interactions
yay star wars father daughter duo evil edition
Dude if you lead me into temptation instead of delivering me from evil I fucking swear
I'm literally dying
hey remember the acolyte. that was some sexy ass star wars. just dark and delicious. lots of hot people. really good fight choreography. I can't believe what happened to that show. it was so good.
I know that feeling well. It's still just love with nowhere to go. Because where can you send love meant for something that never existed?
it's still just love with nowhere to go.
Yes. Unfortunately.
“Darth Plagueis had once remarked that ‘the Force can strike back.’ The death of a star didn’t necessarily curtail its light, and indeed Sidious could see evidence of that sometimes even in Vader—the barest flicker of persistent light.”
— Tarkin, James Luceno (via swiftsnowmane)
#i hope every single time palpatine felt or saw flickers of anakin in vader he was afraid of him #i want him to have been afraid that barest flicker of light might one day become a roaring flame (@thewearyprincess)

I love a good parallel *chefs kiss*
“Eridians dislike earth because they abandoned Grace.” *Incorrect Buzzer Sound* ya missed the point of the story buddy! It’s not about someone being ‘bad’ it’s about the incredible power of love and that love being worth dying for!
Gimmie Eridians who are absolutely heartbroken to hear that humans where so desperate and so scared that they where willing to part with not just one Grace, there were three of them! Gimmie Eridians touched to find that the humans planned a way for their sacrifices to be as comfortable as possible. Gimmie Eridians who send earth a message saying “We know it must have hurt to send your heroes to die, but one made it and he’s safe here. We lost 22 good Eridians on the journey we would have lost 23 if not for your Grace.”
Give me humans sitting on Earth slowly coming to the conclusion that when we look up not only are we not alone, someone out there is alive because of one of us. That no matter what we think of ourselves a whole species thinks highly of us because we helped save the galaxy. Give me humans who figure out how to send a probe to Erid filled to the brim with messages for Grace and footage of a monument being raised that reads his name, his crews names, and then “in memory of the 22 Eridians who lost their lives on the journey to save the stars.”
please stop portraying anakin as having an insult based bantering dynamic with obi-wan. in the movies, he is slightly irreverent but largely respectful of him. in fact, anakin is respectful and polite with everybody (except the enemies of course).
also, please stop portraying him as someone vain about his titles. being the chosen one or the hero with no fear are not something he derives validation from. he is confident (and sometimes arrogant) about his skills and power because he directly experiences them—he knows he is that good. he does not step out of himself to applaud his titles. he ain't shallow.
think of anakin as someone others experience as having gravity. anakin experiences his own larger than life existence as ordinary and others experience him as more than ordinary. like how someone of mythic or divine descent would be experienced among ordinary folks.
