The reason your snacks are unsatisfying is that you need both carb and protein.
Carb starts your engine, protein keeps it going.
No carb, engine don’t start. No protein, engine dies out fast.
Easy carb add on:
Cookie
Fruit (canned or fresh)
Chips
Piece of bread
Popcorn
Crackers
Easy protein add on:
Nuts
Spoonful of nut butter
Cheese
Roasted chickpea snacks
Glass of milk (dairy or non dairy)
Small canned sausages or similar
Sugar in there.
I am pleased by people messaging me telling me that after adding a carb or protein to their snacks or meals they feel more satisfied all day. Yes, my plan is working. People are getting through their days with less hangry.
The faire fomo is real this year, so I'm posting old memories. ^^
I can't wait to be back to my proper lineup + more next year.

progesterone tracker is here.
oestrogen tracker is here.
testosterone tracker is here.
if you experience any disability or neurodivergency please fill out this form. it is equally important to me to have data that says progesterone doesn't affect autism or testosterone doesn't make you hard of hearing or whatever, as it is to document changes. so if you have any health condition. please fill it out. even if it to say "no change". i am begging you all.
and if you can't. please. please do reblog. i need this to be as big as humanly possible. it is the best way forwards to inform decisions.
you know its telling how few people on the internet actually spend time outdoors in general and around actual gay men in particular
because to hear even Tumblr the "gay gender website" talk people only wear harnesses while strapped into a sex swing while being fisted
but the reality is that the harness, both leather and spandex, in gay male world is like stiletto pumps, a bright red lip stick, a short skirt or push up bra.
sure some people are wearing those things because they're about to get laid or hoping to. But lots of people wear them just to feel sexy, confident or powerful. And there's nothing X rated and "shouldn't be seen in public" about any of that.
lots of gay guys wear harnesses to bars or clubs not because its a sex thing, but because its a sexy thing, they feel attractive and confident.
I get that gay men feeling attractive and confident terrifies people, but if you're at Pride and a guy walks past you in jeans and a harness, either shirtless or over his shirt, he didn't violate your civil rights or do a sex thing in front of you, he's wearing a totally appropriate outside that makes him feel confident and powerful.
grow up, deal.
I own this exact harness and I wear it to play Beyblade. unironically
And you do indeed look very cool and powerful playing Beyblade
handing out flyers to transmascs about estradiol cream (can be used to keep your pussy wet and healthy but without triggering periods or having any feminizing effects) and transfemmes about Cialis (works even post-orchi)
and then telling both to start prep too
new blog same sexual health advocate. since making this post i’ve switched from cialis to topical testosterone cream though.
you can take both. i do both now. testosterone cream once a week, Cialis as needed. might start taking the cialis on a regular schedule too.
Would like to add on about the estrogen for transmascs; if you get dysphoric of the feeling of your vagina getting wet, there isultra-low doses of estrogen suppositories. I take a 10 microgram suppository of estrogen twice a week. It’s enough to make it easier for me to pee, but not enough to cause me to get wet. ✌️
I know a lot of guys skip looking into estrogen suppositories bc they don’t do vaginal penetration, but even if you are a top or only do anal penetration it’s still important to consider it as an option if you’re experiencing issues. Pelvic floor dysfunction caused by vaginal atrophy can make it hard to relax the muscles in the pelvis, making it hard to pee and make it hard to relax the anus. If you find yourself having trouble peeing or trouble relaxing for anal, talk to your doctor about your options for treatments. Once I started 10 micrograms biweekly I had a lot easier time prepping for anal.
I also originally didn't like doing the estrogen cream because, at the dose I was taking, it made me feel like I was on my period all the time (it didn't trigger a period, just made me feel crampy and sick), but then I used a non-hormonal alternative vaginal moisturizer for awhile which worked really well, but I just so happened to be using a small amount of the estrogen for dryness stone my urethra and that small dose also worked for my vaginal atrophy as well with none of the side effects.
THERE IS SOMETHING OUT THERE FOR YOU!
Adding along for transfemme folks that in addition to an ED medication to encourage continued use and bloodflow, that topical t-gel is not masculinizing, and helps protect the tissue and reduce atrophy, and help keeps the tissue healthy both pre and post-op. It's the same tissue being repurposed post-op, so it's still at risk of atrophy, so the same stuff can help reduce tissue atrophy. That's right, t-gel is helpful even if you plan on getting a neovagina, because "If you're asking a doctor to fold an origami cat, it's best to bring them the highest quality paper." Healthier tissue is easier to work with and more likely to result in a successful surgery. Similarly, as much as a lot of people find it gender affirming, please think carefully about deliberate long-term use of cock-cages -- those kinds that result in substantial shrinkage. If you're looking to get a neovagina, you'll want to avoid prolonged cock cage use for the same reasons-- less tissue, thinner tissue, atrophied tissue, unhealthy tissue, will have poorer outcomes for surgery. Cock cages and the associated shrinking are GREAT for transfemme folks who want to KEEP their bits/don't want surgery, but want to minimize them, keep them small, and to reduce the dysphoria of a larger, more prominent penis. But they can be a setup for FAILURE if one is trying to get a neovagina constructed. Please be safe, and good luck and much love. World may be spooky, but we're all in this shit together. Rooting for you.
Learning that razor companies started telling women to shave in the 1900s just so they could sell more razors -- and it worked! -- is what radicalized me.
for real tho it feels exhausting that ive seen this whole "woman should be allowed to abstain from X beauty standard" -> "i perform X beauty standard, am i evil? do you think im evil? please forgive me i came up with a dozen excuses 🥺" since like 2015 (and i know its been going on longer than that) like girl thats not the poiiiiint
look me in the eyes. repeat after me. "i face societal pressure to perform this beauty standard. i should not face that pressure. i conform to this standard. i am rewarded for performing to this standard. i need to respect women who do not perform this standard. this is not about whether or not i am a sinner for wearing makeup."

Meanwhile this was what various medical professionals in that reddit thread had to say about it.
They do not, in fact, love it.
The proof that chiropractic is an utterly failed medical profession is not that adjustments can cause harm, but that the profession has responded by ignoring and denying the harm, rather than studying it.
All medical treatments (other than complete placebos) have some risk of harm, but for real treatments given by real professionals, the harms are tracked, measured and warned about. If the harms are too severe, the treatment is no longer used.
One of my colleagues was a chiropractor. After a while he began to suspect that a lot of his patients actually just had muscle tears, not spinal issues. He bought an ultrasound machine, learned how to use it and how to read ultrasound, and found that to be the case. Between that and the constant pressure from management to get customers (because lbr, they're not patients, they're customers), he got sick and tired of it and bailed to become a sonographer full time.
And before people pipe up with "but my chiro is good, they have me do exercises and so on!" that's just regular ass physiotherapy. See a physiotherapist. A lot of people who sing the praises of chiros because they saved them from chronic pain would have gotten the same benefits from seeing an actual licensed physio, who can prescribe the same or even better exercises because they have an actual fucking education.
The amount of fucking charts I've seen where a patient went to a chiropractor and now needs a surgery is fucking insane. All I do is medical charts, day in and day out doing medical code. I've gone over hundreds of patients whole year of appointments. Unless the chiropractor is also a physical therapist, that patient is going to get worse and need surgery with very few exceptions. It doesn't matter when they mention seeing a chiropractor, by the end of the year they need surgery for issues that started after *shock and awe* a chiropractor appointment! I've seen patients needing multiple surgeries to be functional after chiropractors. I've seen patients lose their ability to walk because of chiropractors. And all the way up till they need surgery, through the issues piling up and needing more pain meds, the patients insist it's helping because the want so badly for it to be helping. I wish it did
So, yeah, I ended up in the neurology ward for a week after I saw a chiropractor several years ago, unable to walk. I was very lucky as it was only partial nerve damage and paralysis caused by swelling and it eventually went down enough that I could start physical therapy and walk again. I have 6 herniated disc's, and will eventually need to have two vertebrae fused, and I really wish I had sued the asshole for malpractice. I didn't think I could because I had signed a waiver, but turns out that that doesn't give them the right to hurt you. The guy I had gone to previously had been a sports doctor with an actual medical education, who did very limited chiropractic adjustments but mostly physical therapy and stretching. I thought that was what all of them did, it is not. Do not go to chiropractor, they aren't doctors, they will eventually hurt you. The guy that hurt me knew he had fucked up and straight up lied about to my face, trying to convince me that it was a pulled muscle and I'd be fine in a few minutes if I walked it off. It was not fine. It was not a pulled muscle. Also, why would your "treatment " result in a pulled muscle? Please stay away from chiropractors.
if you are a queer earring maker at a queer friendly event you should have clipons and ADVERTISE THEM you will make SO MUCH FUCKING MONEY there are SO MANY CUTE TRANS GIRLS who want to try your earrings but don't have pierced ears!!!!!! I repeat YOU WILL MAKE SO MUCH MONEY IF YOU DO THIS
genuinely I have sold a couple runs of earrings now and I can provide solid evidence that advertising that clipons even exist as an option literally tripled my sales

The pattern:
A knitting pattern for some mushroom patterned socks seen on pinterest, subsequently found in a Finnish knitting magazine, translated into E
