Why have you turned away a child on Halloween?
Street harassment is not a compliment.
Did i reblog this already? Doesnt matter still relevant.
if you wouldn’t say it to your mama then don’t say it to a random woman ffs
THAT IS A REALLY GOOD POINT
The other day a man who pulled up beside my car at a red light started a brief conversation with “how’s your day been?” And when I said “good, you?” he responded that his was much better now that he’d seen my face. I said thanks, we each said have a good day, and we drove off. He waited for me to make eye contact, engage in the conversation, and give him social cues indicating I was open to interaction before he gave me a compliment.
Compare this to the guy who yelled “I’d fuck it!” as I walked by a porch full of him and his bros. I was only about two doors away from the house I lived in at the time, so this made me feel uncomfortable and watched while literally just walking down my own street minding my own business.
The two are not even comparable. And they know it.
This really a strong ass picture. Black women are super heroes!
I love everything about this, but might I ask. Why the FUCK is schooling so bad in America that a woman who just gave birth has to prepare for an exam tomorrow? @the American education system, bitch
I remember getting ready to fight a teacher because he kicked out a single mother who’s babysitter fell through. The baby wasn’t even crying. I got his ass fired.
I remember my friend taking her exam while her water was breaking, because her professor wouldn’t allow her to take the exam at a later date.
you know, maybe we shouldnt glorify this shit and start working on making it so that women can have fucking kids and not get fucked over by the system.
i was gonna say….this made me kinda sad lmao she should be resting. this isn’t “strong” it’s a sign of a failed system
For anyone reading this: you have rights as a parenting/pregnant student under Title IX. You can reschedule in the event of a birth, among many other things. You can learn more at pregnantoncampus.org
Reblogging for any of my followers that might need this
She is so strong, but she shouldn’t have to be.
Reblogging for the info and for the last comment
I had a really bad day today. An older lady I work with has been bitching behind my back about me being unwell, and also said she’d rather I was pregnant than another girl we work with, so I wouldn’t be working.
I have undiagnosed Endometriosis, and before anyone jumps on the wagon, I’ve done plenty of research, and seen multiple doctors, some whom had shared my opinion, but no one want to diagnose me (they’ve found cysts on my ovaries). So I’m sick a lot cause there’s no pattern to my periods, and I often have to sit in the bathtub because of how much blood there is. Another side effect of Endo is that it can affect fertility, so her nasty comment really, really hit home. And she has said more just recently, which has triggered me.
To add to this shit feat, my partner now has a family issue back home, 2,000kms away (1,200 mi), and we have to take a month off to support his family through a rough time. I’m also casual, so I don’t get paid sick or holiday leave, so I have been missing out on considerable money to support myself. So the physical, mental and financial strain has left me teetering on the edge or suicidal thoughts. And depression shouldn’t be a secret.
Please give me something to smile about, I’m not doing okay, but I you guys are supportive and kind. I hope y’all are doing better then me.
The birth of Snake Venus
snenus
First off, this is hilarious, but secondly, the artist’s name is Bill Flowers and he literally goes by The Snake Artist because he just does a bunch of paintings like this.
He’s also apparently a “venomous snake wrangler.” He’s Australian, which I feel explains a lot.
Fuck yeah, go the Aussies!
This white woman’s shocking account of police brutality reveals the importance of the #BlackLivesMatter movement
Molly Suzanna shared a story on Facebook that she had never told before: when she was 19, she ran a red light while crying, then was pulled over and forcefully removed and beaten by a police officer. She explains in the letter that she believes her situation would have been even worse had she been black — and she ends the letter with an important call to action.
The public needs to hear more stories like this as well.
Wow. This is horrifying.
Cops are drunk on power. Add any ism to that, you have a bunch of abusive, gun wielding, trained to kill, non empathetic, killers running around.
This woman got hauled out of a window, beaten, stripped, tortured, and humiliated, and she still is able to understand how white privilege saved her life.
If she can understand white privilege, then everybody should be able to.

SANDRA BLAND was pulled over for traffic ticket; was tasered and then arrested. Suspicious “suicide” while in jail. No charges.
BOTHAM JEAN was fatally shot in his home, which female officer ¿mistook for her own? (Which I’ll never understand.) Officer found guilty of murder.
OSCAR GRANT was handcuffed and placed face-down, officer then shot him in the back. Officer found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

ERIC GARNER: Stopped for selling cigarettes on a nyc street and choked by a cop in broad daylight. Complications of the stress put on his throat by the hold caused his death; Openly said “I can’t breathe” several times and pretty much died while three other cops watched their compatriot kill a man. Eric was well known for just trying to sell goods as a side hustle and never actually hurt anybody.
DJ HENRY was fatally shot in his car by police officer Aaron Hess in the early morning hours of Oct. 17, 2010. DJ's passengers say they were doing nothing wrong when Hess ran out in front of them in the road. Hess says he only fired because he was in fear for his life. Hess later admitted to lying on multiple occasions after DJ’s death about the shooting.
These were all murders. They were not accidental. All of these innocent people: men, women AND children. Were murdered because they were black. Not because they were violent. Not because they were threatening, but because they were black. Something has to change. We have to MAKE a change. Black lives matter. Black men. Black women. Black children. Non-Binary blacks. Trans blacks. Every single one of their lives matter. Your friends. Your neighbors. Your teachers. Your brothers. Your sisters. We are the change.

this list isn’t even close to a being a quarter of the wrongful African American deaths in America and if there is anyone you’d like me to add please message me. I will gladly add them because people deserve to know their names.
Something has got to change.

A reminder that Kookaburras are a thing that exists.
[A large kookaburra is sitting on someone’s wrist and laughing.]
So you’re telling me the stereotypical jungle animal noise sound effect was a Kookaburra all this time!?
Also many times the sound effect for dolphin noises is a Kookaburra sped up!
Yo, I’m from Australia, and I can confirm that these arseholes do this all the time, especially at the break of dawn.
Every.
Damn.
DAY.
Reblog if you need this energy
Just an experiment. Reblog if you actually give a fuck about male victims of domestic violence and rape.
Of fucking course
What sick bastard doesn’t
“You’d be surprised”, said Xaldien, who just lost four followers and received a lovely “men can’t be raped” anon shortly after reblogging this the first time.
Yowch, disgusting.
If I don’t reblog this, assume I’m dead.
Always reblog this
If you Dont reblog this if u see it then i cant call u my friend
IF ANYONE TELLS ME THAT MEN CAN’T BE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND RAPE, I AM SICKENED BY THEIR MERE PRESENCE ON MY BLOG.
If you disagree with me, unfollow my blog, block me and never look at my blog again.
If you want to debate about this or send anon’s about this, I will reply but your actions have consequences.
Out of 19000+ followers I have, only one of you actually reblogged about this issue, yet a lot of you have reblogged and liked a picture by playboy about catcalling and that how men should never do it.
Additionally, I have received abuse in my ask box (which I will be answering when I can) and threats. In particular death threats and rape threats.
I can see the real problem here already. Male domestic violence and rape is just invisible in our society because we don’t want to talk about this because it just damages the status quo of this fucking website.
I’m a male victim of child sexual abuse. We matter. Please, reblog this.
Please never forget male victims are real and it can happen to everyone/anyone
I’m a boy , and when i was younger I was sexually assaulted every damn day for three years by my younger step SISTER, So don’t go saying that ‘boys can’t be raped’ bull shit
This is so important. That kinda shit can happen to everybody
Anybody can be raped, and anybody can be a rapist
Women can be rapists, and men can be raped. Sad but true.
It doesn’t matter who you are. Anyone can be a victim of rape, and it’s disgusting.
do you ever watch something and think “this was written by a man”
i was up late night watching an episode of criminal minds fairly recently, for lack of a better thing to do. in the opening scene there are these two girls getting into their car in like a supermarket parking lot, not very well lit, in the middle of the night. another car drives up right behind theirs and won’t move out of the way so this one girl is like “im gonna go see what this guy’s problem is” and gets out of the car, in a poorly lit parking lot, to confront a man who was behaving aggressively to them.
so that was the precise moment i realised that episode was written by a man.
I was watching an episode of CSI where the entire reason they were going forward with the case was that ‘no woman would wear a bra this expensive without also wearing the matching panties’. What porn logic is this? I was, at that moment, wearing the exact bra the Jane Doe was wearing and fuck no I didn’t spring for the matching panties. Even if I did, I wouldn’t wear them as often as a bra. Panties I wash daily. Bras? Not so much.
But in CSI World, police resources were being mobilized on how irregular it would be for a woman to wear a $36 bra, but not caring about how she would look in just underthings.
Never mind not matching, but that they think $36 is expensive for a bra is probably the number one sign it was written by a man.
In Star Wars Padmé goes for Anakin while Ewan McGregor is around
The number of times I have said out loud to my TV “no woman would do that”…. too many to count.

Bella and Edward’s conversation in biology is like one of those disasters that you can’t look away from
like, damn girl and boy, if y’all hook up after that trainwreck, there’s hope for all of us out there
bless y’all
honestly, just watch twilight to see an accurate depiction of teenage boys
i genuinely believe that all of anna kendrick’s lines in this movie have been improvised and no one can convince me otherwise
Bella was like “kay, this dude is probably a vampire, ima go talk to him alone in the forest that is conveniently right next to my high school, nothing can go wrong”
lmao girl, no wonder everything tries to murder you
name a more iconic line, i’ll wait
also, hearing Edward say “I like watching you sleep” never gets not-creepy
