okay so did they immediately flanderize mel or is it just me?
It’s not that. We learned she’s being sued by a patient and the deposition is later in the day. She’s very stressed about it and it’s distracting her.

The Pitt S2E1: Robby & Langdon
*SPOILERS*
Robby is being all distant acting like he wants nothing to do with Langdon. Remember, him and the whole hospital have likely known for weeks or months when Langdon’s return date would be. Robby could’ve chosen to go on his sabbatical before he came back so he wouldn’t have to see him.
He didn’t.
Sanders Sides Video Types
I decided to go through all the Sanders Sides videos and see how many of what kind have been made and if there is any sort of pattern to them. The categories are.
Sanders Sides Lore (SSL): When something about how the Sides operate, function, a new power of their’s, or a new character is a central focus of the episode.
Heavy Character Development (HCD): When the personal growth of one or more sides is the central focus of the episode
Lesson of the Day (LD): When there is minimal character development and the episode is more focused on Thomas learning a serious lesson via his discussion with the sides.
Comedy Centric (CC): Episodes where little of the above categories occur and light-hearted comedy and fun is the central focus of the video
Disclaimer: I’m aware some of the Sanders Sides videos can fit into more than one of these categories. I’m making my decision based on what the I think the most important/stand-out part of the episode is.
Okay, here’s the list
LD: “My True Identity!
CC: “WAY TOO ADULT”
CC: “Taking on ANXIETY with Lilly Singh!!” (Virgil’s Introduction)
CC: “A New Year of Lying to Myself…In Song!!”

31. CC: Flirting with Social Anxiety (c!Thomas’ beau, Nico, is introduced)
So…it’s been a while…I figured I should update this. I’m not including any blooper reels, incorrect quote videos, hear me outs, or plain merchandise ads featuring the Sides. In case anyone wants a more concise watch list without unnecessary filler. Maybe finishing this list will help manifest the season finale 🙏🏻
31: CC: The Return of the Jam!

33: CC: Have I Grown? - Five Years Later
34: LD: Can Plushies Improve Our Health?

I need to talk about this panel because I think its so funny and sweet
Her saying that she figured this will end when Anya graduates implies that even before Yor realized that she wanted to stay in this family forever, she was totally down to play pretend for 12 years.
Yor is so unhinged. Initially, Loid only asked her to do this for the school interview. But Yor was instantly ride or die for this family she just met and was willing to commit 12 years of her life to the bit. She's willing to do anything to help people (including murder) and so nice to a fault. Yor is such an unhinged icon honestly.
Also, this shows that she understands Anya will eventually leave the nest. So, when Yor says she wants the agreement to continue on forever, she doesn’t just mean being with the Forgers forever…
She wants to be with Loid forever.
Spoilers for S4E2 of “The Bear”
Say what you will about Sydcarmy and if it will ever be canon…but I’m such a sucker for mentor/mentee tropes. Especially when the mentor realizes their mentee is surpassing them.
2:39, well done Sydney. Carm even said he couldn’t make the dish that fast.
why do i think that kyle is going to be very jaded from all the years he's seen ghosts, and maybe make the others think about how hard it is for sam to see them. i think there's gonna be some tough conversations about everything sam and jay have done for the ghosts and sacrificed for them, like several times throughout the season theyve talked about how the living stuff has to come first. i feel like kyle is gonna try and convince sam to break thor's curse once and for all so she can get back to a normal life
I think it’ll be interesting to learn how Kyle navigates life as a medium. Sam has said she cannot move back to the city, or anywhere moderately populated, due to there being too many ghosts in the area for her to deal with. Maybe Kyle will teach her how to block out the ghosts so she can get on with daily life without meeting dozens on invisible people every day.
i really thought dr. collins was coming back. y'all i don't think she's coming back
No no no, Collins is not going back to the hospital. Because the show is going to end with Robby going to her.
My Dr. Mel King Headcanon
Mel is not formally diagnosed with ASD.
Her sister had the higher support needs, classic common signs and was diagnosed at a young age. Mel had the less common, “she’s just a quiet, quirky, smart girl” flavor of Autism as a child. This and her likely being a bit of a glass child caused her parents never notice the signs and get her diagnosed.
In adulthood I suspect Mel has either self-diagnosed or is looking into getting a formal diagnosis. However, she’s worried of the stigma a formal diagnosis could bring and has been putting it off.
hi
hello
here's how i think this is gonna go
incel kid is going to shoot up the music festival langdon is gonna be sitting in his car or something when the ambulances start rolling in there's gonna be an argument, but eventually robby's gonna cave and let him work cause it's a mass casualty event robby's going to come to his senses and tell langdon to get help or he can't stay at the hospital
hell, santos could still be wrong and robby could be acting out of anger. i saw someone post here they thought it was abbot skimming louie's meds.
your precious langdon is going to be fine (he is literally credited on imdb for all 15 episodes)
Only thing with that is The Pitt seems really grounded in real-life rules and protocols. Allowing Langdon to work after finding out he was stealing medication would be a gigantic liability for the hospital, and can incriminate Robby. I think Langdon may OD and return as a patient. That may be why the actor is still credited in all the episodes. I agree with the music fest theory though!
i can not put into words how angry i am about Robby's "you may have ruined this kid's life forever" speech to McKay
REALLY?
a boy has a list of girls he wants to harm and you just think to yourself "oh gee, that's just teenage shenanigans"??????
IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WHERE SCHOOL SHOOTINGS ARE A REOCCURRING THING??
it sounded eerily familiar to what people say about women who report sexual abuse and it really really triggered a deep anger in me, not gonna lie
It is a weird thing he got defensive with too. Given how seriously he takes the staff being assaulted. Maybe we’ll get more insight but I’m glad he apologized 🤷🏻♀️
i'm thrown off by how he acted during the whole episode, really
doesn't make any sense to me, but let's see...
also, i'm glad he apologized but i wish it was still done better? you know? instead of recognizing he was wrong, he first pointed out how McKay "acted behind his back"...
Well, we gotta remember that this day is the anniversary of his mentor’s death from COVID. Robby is not meant to be in a good headspace right now. Doesn’t excuse everything he does but it helps frame his behavior.

Oh. I saw someone said it's weird that people ship Dr. Langdon and Dr. King and I commented that idt anyone really is?because I've only seen people agree with my post about wanting them to be platonic forever
And then the next minute I'm literally seeing several posts of people shipping them. The algorithm is punishing me
Maybe it's my age, or maybe I watched too much medical drama soap opera in the past where you can basically put two characters in a room and they'll start wanting to procreate, (I've watched 3) but dang am I tired of romantic relationships in medical dramas. Yes romantic relationships are great and happy but. Be platonic and happy is also a Nice thing
I'm just at the age where I prefer having a company to sit with me on a peaceful evening than having a crush or thinking about romance in a tiring way that hospital dramas like to do......so it's projecting into my medical dramas requirements lol
I'm not a medical staff of any kind but i bet with such a hectic work, what I'd need at the end of a long tiring day is a supportive person accompanying and understanding me and not....tongue kissing. Altho that is welcomed. But it's not always required in a relationship is it
If I wanted a romance line between every kind and understanding or nice decent people, I'd watch a proper romance drama, not a medical drama that'll surely be messy and stupid
But that's just me being pessimistic and old
Not to mention that in the context of this show, King and Langdon have only known each other for a few hours. This isn’t like shipping Dr. Robby and Dr. Collins whose prior relationship was established. They have just met, and Langdon has been established to be a married father of two. The only chance of romance in the show is going to come from Robbie and Collins.
Guys I just realized that Pete has his wedding ring on. He will for all of eternity have his wedding ring on. The ring belonging to a person who cheated on him. He's stuck with it on, for the rest of his afterlife, forever.
We also gotta remember, since the current season has barely touched on it, Carol is still living on the property as a ghost. It’s presumed she lives in the shed now since she’s dating/married one of the Loyalist soldiers. Pete’s wife, who cheated on him and married his best friend, is right there and we barely see her. I get that she isn’t meant to be a recurring character and that the show doesn’t like to disrupt the status quo for too long. However, we didn’t even see how she felt in the Christmas episode when Pete learned their daughter would be moving across the globe, and they’d likely never see her again. Making Carol a ghost just feels like wasted potential as this point.
The mental gymnastics the writers must be doing to convince themselves that injuring yourself in war for your son is an act of cowardice is wild!
Like, they will do literally anything to try and convince the audience it was a bad decision, even going as far as to contradict themselves in season 5 and say Rumple did it because he was scared he was going to die, not because of his son. But, like, he's still in the right even if Meliah wasn't pregnant because we literally see no survivors at the end of the battle.
And at the end of the day, if he had died, Bae would probably have been abandoned by his mother anyway or killed by a snake bite and have no parent figure to love him.
(Oops, this kinda became a part 3 of the writers hating Rumple 😅)
The craziest thing about this is that we, from the BEGINNING, know that this war is bullshit. We know that the Duke of the Frontlands has the Dark One so he could end the war whenever he chooses. We also see him conscripting literal kids, so the narrative is very much anti-war and anti-duke, and the fact that this war has been raging for years and has decimated the population to the point of having to resort to child soldiers tells us a lot about the savagery of the war. In a later episode we even see ogres destroy an entire part of a castle, just to drive the point home about how ridiculous it is for peasants-turned-soldiers to be put up against ogres.
Then they have us see how a bonafide seer tells Rumple what pretty much sounds like a warning about how he was gonna die if he fought in battle, even though we saw him pretty determined before to fight. And then we see him hobbling himself, an excruciatingly painful thing to do. And we know he's doing it for his boy. Because we were told about how damaging being abandoned by his father was for Rumple and how he does not want that to happen to his son.
I think the narrative took a hard turn when Hook became Adam and Eddie's pet character, and not in the fun "villain we love" or even "anti-hero that's fun to write", but full on "bad-boy who turns into the hero" mode, which meant heavily whitewashing a lot of his bad-boy traits (like his penchant for sleeping with drunk women or all that murdering and double-crossing he did). But the problem was that Hook was introduced as an antagonist to Rumple in an unfortunate way, meaning an asshole who literally taunted and fought a cripple, mocked him, and ran away with the guy's wife (who emotionally abused him and was totally cool with leaving her kid). Hook was full on a bully there so the narrative had to change. What if actually Rumple crippling himself was his fault? What if Milah was actually the victim in that marriage because Rumple refusing to die in a war affected her social status? That makes Rumple the one with no honour and Hook an honourable man.
Worst thing is that lots of people accepted the narrative because it made it more palatable to see the character they liked bully a disabled person.
I was a teen-young adult when OUAT was out and thought the original narrative was that we should not view Rumple as a coward for hobbling himself. He became a coward when he chose his power over Bae. I even had an easier time accepting his decision because a cartoon I watched as a child had a similar story:
Nickelodeon’s El Tigre has an episode where Manny the protagonist learns that his super hero father once ran away from a fight. Manny feels betrayed by this and calls his dad a coward to his face. He then goes to face the monster his father walked away from. In the process he learned every person who has tried to fight the monster was killed, and that his father abandoned the fight so he could be there for his family. The narrative shows this was the right decision.
I could go on a whole rant about how the writers dropped the ball with Rumple’s character. From the regression, the repeated plot points, making Rumbelle so toxic at a point where a hardcore shipper like me did not enjoy them together for a time. I could pop off…and I will!
Essentially, the writers realized Rumple did not act in an antagonistic roll at all in season 3 and needed to make him the bad guy again. Especially since they were redeeming Hook and Regina. They could have made his relapse more interesting if they delved more into his grief from Bae dying and the trauma of being imprisoned by Zelena for a year. But, nah, he’s just a power hungry Dark One and wants Storybrooke to crumble even if that means letting people who Bae cared about die. Belle learns the truth and casts him out. He returns, is badass but also woobie and then is placed in the magic coma in the S4 finale. Then he has all that develop with pulling the sword from the stone and learning to be a hero in season 5…all for it to come crashing down and him choosing to become the Dark One again just cause he loves power. This leads to Rumbelle’s most toxic phase to the point where I as a shipper was questioning if there reunion felt warranted. I was still happy with the “Up” episode in S7 but it felt like getting a little cookie after being fed literal garbage.
TLDR: Rumple deserved better writing and character development than what he got.
So I may be reading way too much into this...
But I feel like the scene at the end of "When I See Him" of Stolas placing the flower back in the bush symbolizes his flawed thinking regarding how to "fix" things with Blitz. He thinks giving Blitz the crystal will make everything better and undo all the damage they have done to each other. He can't just take away the pain that is there, and giving Blitz an out is not the cure-all to their relationship he assumes it will be.
The flower has already been picked.
Putting it back in the bush may make it appear whole and fixed, but it will eventually wither and die. He has to accept that this stage of their relationship is over and the heartache cannot be hidden away by making things look healthy and complete. So, how do the two of them move on from here?
Eventually, if they can, they'll have to grow a new flower
Can someone explain to me why Kenzie and Liz voted Venus /srs
I was so ready for Q to go home, just from what people were saying about him around camp (using the all the firewood in 2 hours, being unhelpful around camp, etc) and I was so surprised that they flipped!
Same reason why Hunter and Tiff went home over Q. Those 3 are actual threats and could win the game (at the very least get some jury votes). Q is a Survivor goat you bring to the end cause no one will vote for him. Why vote him off if no one respects his game enough to think he deserves the million? I can easily see Q (and Ben let’s be real, he’s done nothing) end up in the final 3 as goats with the third finalist (praying on Kenzie) being the winner.
No one wants to make the mistake Woo made in Cagayan. Where he brought Tony to the end over Cass out of a sense of honor. Tony ended up winning because of that one error.
“I’m not saying she hates women, but she hates women because she didn’t like/play with me”
I’m just going to just say that if you go on a reality show and expect a woman to have your back based on the fact that you’re a woman and when she doesn’t, you turn around and call her a misogynist then you’re a misogynist. Maria. doesn’t. owe. anyone. anything. Period. It’s a game for a million dollars and she is playing the game to win. Women (especially older women) are always getting flack for not being nice or maternal enough. They can’t ever just exist or play the game that way a man does. Disappointing to hear this from a self-proclaimed “girls girl.” But what did we expect.
Hard agree here. They gave Maria flack for not being motherly. Even though Maria never once proclaimed herself to be the momma bear of this season. Yet no one used that same excuse for Q when he denied Liz the Applebees. Why is Maria the only self-hating woman, Venus? Kenzie and Liz voted for you too!
