Love is not a young thing, love is for everyone! give me a grey hair woman calling her best friend since she was a little girl and saying “girl, leave your husband alone for the day, i need you to give me a make over cause i have a date and i’m freaking out” give me a old man asking his young neighbour for his motorcycle to look more cool “she says she always wanted to drive a motorcycle but never could”

Give us two persons around 60’s or 70’s being shy and awkward with each other, saying stuff like “do you remember back in the days when people kiss behind trees? let’s do that”

tired of “you don’t look bad in that dress you look beautiful” kind of compliment trying to help with self love, i want “your grey hair is just as bright as your smile” “hey! you’re the strongest person i know”

i want a new couple of elderly running under the rain, dancing in a silly way around the kitchen, singing classic love songs, discovering new thing, get nervous for a kiss or touching hands, talking about dream and planning the dreams together, meeting the family and friends.

stop with the whole “love is for young people” because is not! old people can fall in love, old people can have dreams and old people can be the main character (and not in just movies about grandparents or nursing houses)

give old actors and actresses the lead roles in romcom!!! give them the spotlight!!! not because someone turn 40 means that the story ends, the book continue for years and years. life doesn’t end at 40!!!!!!!
