DC fans who read fanfiction, I need your help!

I can't find a fanfic that I loved. The Justice League went on a roadtrip, there's Clark, Diana, Dinah, Oliver, Bruce, Hal and Barry if I remember well. It has the Halbarry ship in there. I remember Barry getting sick because of a thunderstorm and Hal pouting at the beginning because he didn't want to go at first.

I really loved it but I can't find it on Ao3 so I wonder if I even saw it there ;;

2. grammarly

lmao grammaly gets on my last nerve too (but I still use it bc I'm loyal to it 😭). It's actually an offshoot of bing bong 2 because the document was getting too long and grammarly wasn't loading properly and made the entire thing laggy. So I got fed up and just created a new doc to write whatever current chapter of bb2 I was working on so I could edit it without getting frustrated lmao.

I still keep grammarly around for the nostalgia I guess and typos but I've started the switch to ProWritingAid and I feel that it's much better because now I can pick a tone (fiction, romance, etc.).

Anyways here's a snip snop (context is they both don't know each other's identities)

Hal internally grinned as he played out all the different scenarios of what he so desperately hoped would happen tonight. They’d have a romantic dinner, and then Hal would woo the shit out of Flash and show him that he was serious about him—about them.

God, that guy was everything.

Just thinking about Flash made Hal feel giddy all over.

Barry hadn’t realized how much he’d begun to love Hal’s smile. It was like a breath of fresh air, filling Barry’s lungs with new life, new invigoration, new fulfillment—it was everything he needed after a bout of staleness, like seeing things in a new light. Yet, in the same vein, Hal took his breath away and made Barry feel like he’d been swept off his feet, whisked away to the less pressurized atmosphere in one of the pilot’s planes.

In other words, Barry was gone. Melted in a puddle of mush. A mess in Hal Jordan’s hands.

4. bing bong ideas

I had a dream that Hal was in a coma and Barry confessed his love for him because he thought Hal couldn't hear him and was too afraid to do it face to face for fear of rejection but Hal actually heard him. That's all I have in my brain for now the bullet point is literally titled "Coma AU" lmao

For ask game... Can I ask for bing bong 2 and bing bong 7

1. bing bong 2

bing bong 2 is a Halbarry fic that's been in my drafts for the longest time (2022). It's got over 100k words but I haven't published any of it yet bc I'm trying to get to a certain point in my outline before I start pushing it out. The gist of the story is basically secret identity porn lol where Halbarry don't know each other's identities.

Here's two snippets from different chapters

Still, that didn’t mean Hal wasn’t curious. He knew the former had blond hair; the speedster’s eyebrows peeked through his cowl. And the blue eyes: kind of like Barry’s. But he noticed Flash’s iris’ were more vibrant while Barry’s were more muted.

It’d be funny if Barry was The Flash.

GL had another stint in space—almost three weeks this time. Coincidently, Hal had also disappeared around that time for and for the same length as GL.

The patterns were starting to come together. Barry had suspicions about GL for a while, but maybe that was because he was also a superhero with a secret identity. Maybe…he was projecting his experience onto the other hero, assuming Lantern was like him. If Barry had an identity, GL must’ve had one, too, right?

3. bing bong 7

bing bong 7 is 2024 Halbarry week stuff. I have vague ideas for all the days I just need to sit down and write them all out.

So far I've finished Day 1; here's a snippet

“Barry is a detective. And the smartest person I know.”

“Technically, I’m a Forensic.”

“Not helping your case, Bar,” Hal snorted, shaking his head playfully. “You’re the best in the business. I wouldn’t have asked anyone else.”

“That’s just because you can’t stand Batman.”
