I had nightmares about being Lead paint poisoned last night, so instead of venting to my moots, I WILL TELL YOU ABOUT LEAD PAINT SO THAT YOU SUFFER WITH ME!!!!!

Lead paint is a toxic kind of paint with high doses of Lead (Pb) in it. In the United States, it was banned from residential use in 1978, meaning buildings built during the year or after that specific year are sure to have little to no Lead paint in them, making you safe from Lead paint poisoning. However, buildings built before before then are at risk of having Lead in them.

Lead paint is somewhat safe if it is not disturbed and is not peeling or cracking and/or hasn't released Lead paint dust. However, if Lead paint is peeling, cracking, or has released Lead dust, EVACUATE YOUR HOME IMMEDIATELY AND GET TESTED FOR LEAD POISONING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. There is no "safe" amount of Lead that can enter your body. Only 3 granules of Lead paint dust can cause poisoning.

Lead paint has a sweet taste, often called the "sugar of Lead". Young children ate these paint chips, mistaking them for food. As such, Lead paint poisoning is especially harmful for them and their developing brains.

In children, symptoms of Lead paint poisoning may include (I am not a doctor, bear with me here)

Developmental delay

Loss of appetite

Violent behavior

Irritability

Fatigue

Lead colic (Severe stomach cramping)

Seizures

Vomitting

Hearing loss

In adults, symptoms of Lead paint poisoning may include (still not a doctor, bear with me again)

Severe headaches

High blood pressure

Joint and/or muscle pain

Lead colic

Memory and/or concentration difficulty

Mood disorders

Among other symptoms.

If you live or work at a building built before 1978, make sure it is Lead paint free. If you discover Lead paint anywhere in you building, DO NOT RE-ENTER IT UNTIL THE LEAD HAS BEEN SAFELY REMOVED OR HANDLED BY A PROFESSIONAL. NEVER TRY TO REMOVE LEAD PAINT YOURSELF. AND NEVER, EVER, PUT UNKNOWN PAINT CHIPS IN YOUR MOUTH.

A completely random and no reason Channelsona based off a channel I don’t even watch!!

This is Stella D’Azellin! She is a well known actress in Broadcastica (Where all the Channelsonas/Blocksonas live) who is mesmerizing, captivating (yes I know Mesmerizing and Captivating are probably synonyms but whatever), obsessive, and somewhat of a “Starving Actress”. The shows she acts in are relatively popular, though!

Well, one, Astro is my name, Stars are my game, and two…

There are over 1,000 cable television channels in the United States, including defunct ones (RIP Sprout). Certain ones are for children (such as Charley’s channel, Cartoon Network), others… not so much (such as Stella’s own channel, STARZ). The Channelsona lineup WILL NOT be completed until every single cable television station in the United States has an accompanying Channelsona (Blocksona if they have a Programming Block). They will etch my name on the Tumblr wall of fame. They will mention me outside Tumblr as a proud part of its history.

I will be historic. I will be famous.

I remember visiting a hotel. It didn’t sell breakfast, there were no wake up calls, and the sun never rose. Most of the time, it was rainy.
