(I do find birthing person a bit unwieldy, but that's just cause I feel like it deserves a less blunt term tbh. That's just an issue of language though, we've gotta invent a word. Pregnant woman is also unwieldy as hell.)
(Also no pregnant person should have to suffer any level of indignity actually; it's a major life event that carries a ton of cultural significance, and it's difficult as hell, so people going through it should be made to feel as comfortable, loved, and supported as possible.)
Recommending hosts as a term?
Ehhhhhhhhhhh, you refer to somebody carrying a parasite as the host though, kinda not a great connotation. I mean, I suppose it works for peeps that don't want to be pregnant while they are; for anybody that wants to be though, probs not the best pick unless they like it.
You also refer to someone who has guests over as a host though.
