all! Still a bit new to using the platform!)
(I also sometimes write positive comments on other people's ROTTMNT fan art, but I don't usually use tumblr, once again lol and sometimes doesn't respond for weeks and months)
'So evil ones should get a little more' by @nerdyboiyeet is INCREDIBLE AS WELL!!! (Why is there so much good fanfiction in the ROTTMNT fandom??? This is why I love this fandom so much.) I really loved the message of the whole fanfic and how canonically the characters felt overall with their personalities and the writing and feelings. Multiple times, I felt like crying because it was so sad, but so good XD. It was just a straight-up masterpiece, and I loved every little bit of it! (Spoilers: Krang Three's and Leo's friendship was also fun to read!)
Random inspiration made me take inspiration from the original creator's drawing of Leo holding the Shredder Armor piece, so HERE IT IS! (The original creator's drawing is super good, you should check it out!!! I really loved the concept of the drawing, too!!! I just borrowed the idea and made Leo do a different pose with the armor piece, and made it ROTTMNT movie style. And yes, I loved the flashy mask tails flying around, so I decided to just yeet the idea from the OG, but I think I made it basically an exact replica... oops. Sorry, nerdyboiyeet! It's just that you have too many good ideas- sorry again if you want me to delete the post, just message me! I'll try to respond at the fastest time I can! I just really love your fanfic and concept art and wanted to show my appreciation! YOU ARE AN AMAZING FANFIC WRITER OHMIGOSH I LOVE ALL YOUR FANFICS ESPECIALLY THE NEW ONE CALLED 'The lights in your eyes fade and life flashes by' I am waiting for new updates to this day!)
(So, I know I said that I won't be posting anymore fan art of ROTTMNT fanfics I love, but I'm pretty sure this is going to be the last one I ever post... maybe. Don't count on it. still very shy and don't wanna interact with people and want to work on art progress alone haha)

Here I go!
1. I misspelled 'depictions' as 'depections' twice. Autocorrect automatically changed it to 'depections' every time I spelled it correctly afterwards. I didn't catch it right away and later had months worth of work to backtrack and fix. I learned a lot of mistakes slip past when I'm proof-reading, so now I use a spell check program before posting my fanfics online. And I learned autocorrect isn't for me.
2. I used to take my time writing out my first draft, trying to make it look like the final draft by adding details, stopping to look up synonyms, and making sure conversations flowed nicely. But taking my time on the first draft sometimes meant the story I'm trying to write flies out of my head like a little birdie that never returns 🐦 I learned it's ok for the first draft to be sloppy, messy, and lack details, as long as the main idea is put out on paper, I can clean it up and add more details later, during the editing.

Oh mistakes mistakes… where do I start hehe? Let’s see here…
Soooo let’s just say that I often get writers block. Like, REALLY often. I can remember kind of a specific time was when we moved and I kinda just felt stuck in a lot of aspects of life, feeling zero motivation to write even though I loved it so much. Also if something wasn’t perfect it bugged me immensely and I’d often stop writing and question my overall abilities. Eventually I learned that sometimes all I needed to do to get my inspiration back was to just START—even if it was struggling to grind out a singular paragraph. Most of the time all it took was just forcing myself to put something down and then creativity took over and I was able to write a lot more! Point is that you’ll never know unless you try. It might bad or it might be good once it exists, but it won’t be anything if it never exists. Besides you can always refine it later! Just keep writing, and it can be good later. This applies to a lot of things actually, how you will never be great at anything if you never practice and push through that awkward phase. I cringe at some of my old writings hehe, but without them I would’ve never gotten to where I am today <333

I went back to past chapters like in 'so evil ones should get a little more' fanfic and drew Leo doing the jazz hands after tricking the crew in chapter 10, that one scene in 'The Shadow Assassin' where Leo doesn't know what PIZZA is (illegal fr- PLEASE LET HIM KNOW PIZZA IN A FUTURE CHAPTER I BEG OF THEE) and in 'The lights in your eyes fade and life flashes by' fanfic where Leo makes the schedule reminder. (literally broke my heart- that one scene and what the schedule reminder was about when I first read this fanfic XD)

This is for the Villain Leo AU called "so evil ones should get a little more" by @nerdyboiyeet and I love the fanfic (you can find the fanfic on AO3 btw)- ideas and basically EVERYTHING in this AU so much that when I heard there were two alternate endings besides the original ending, I chose to draw the super happy alternate ending- I just HAD to draw that ending y'know?!?! :)
I feel like the two would get along with their similarities and parallels and also I feel like Leo would explain some modern stuff to Krang Prime and Krang Prime already knows this stuff (because he does know Leo's memories and stuff) but for Leo's sake pretends that he doesn't! I'm excited to see what their dynamic would be like in this alternate ending!!!!
Also I have a feeling that Krang Prime does NOT look forward to facing the consenquences of his actions... At least he has Leo, though! :D

Hey everyone! Yay, I finally finished a concept poster for Machines Don’t Bleed (out on AO3 with the link)! I realized that in my previous art I didn’t quite know how Leo’s arms moved (?) so I tried some shoulder hinges, then didn’t like them so drew shoulder pads over them lol! But I was happy with the was it turned out and I hope you enjoy! ^^

I keep telling myself “Abbie stop writing new fanfics you already have some just work on those” but alas I don’t listen so here we are 😆 I’m way ahead on chapters for Crescent and TSLAU and working on more for GBLP so I thought I might as well do this one as well since the concept seemed popular! Leo stared at the dummy in front of him as if it had personally insulted him, breathing heavily and hearing his heartbeat pound in his tympana. He took a sharp breath and began his routine again, trying to picture the bland burlap as sagging pink flesh and sadistic eyes.
”You’ve ruined EVERYTHING!”
Punch.
”You wretched. Little. Pest!”
Kick.
”Outmatched and alone.”
”Wipe that grin off your face!”
Roundhouse.
”Nardo?”
Leo whipped around with his fist raised to strike, eyes unfocused and muscled tensed up. Donnie jumped, and the twins looked at each other for a few seconds before Leo flushed and slowly lowered his arm. “H-hey DonTron. Sorry.”
”Hey yourself.” Donnie rolled his eyes. “‘I’m not training too hard’ my shell.”
”Oh don’t worry about little ol’ me!” Leo regained his composure and offered a wink. “Just got a little carried away there.”
”Ah yes. Just a little, he said very unconvincingly.” Donnie sighed. “I come with hydration because you clearly weren’t using that dum-dum brain of yours to take care of yourself.”
”Heh, thanks Dee.” Leo took the cup of water gratefully and downed it in seconds.
Donnie watched his twin greedily gulp the liquid with narrowed eyes. “You know you need to take care of yourself. This can’t keep happening.”
”Oh pshaw, this was just one time.” Leo tried to wave off his twin, but Donnie only raised a sharpie eyebrow and pulled up a calendar. He clicked on yesterday’s tab and read aloud. “Two forty-seven p.m.: Nardo tripped on his own feet due to dehydration. Check on him tomorrow.” He swiped another day. “One sixteen a.m.: Nardo was found collapsed in the dojo. Install locks.” He swiped to yet another day and Leo gulped. “Ten oh-six a.m.: Nardo skipped breakfast…”
”Okay I get it!” Leo huffed. “Seriously though it’s creepy that you keep track of all that.”
”You know I record everything Nardo.” Donnie thumbed another button and the hologram calendar collapsed. “Especially things like this. You need breaks. You’re not a machine.”
”Geez, no need to get all ‘Dr. Feelings’ on me.” Leo teased, using air quotations. “But seriously it was just a little mix-up. I’ll work on it.”
”’I’ll work on it.’” Came Leo’s own recorded voice from Donnie’s wrist tech, and Leo scowled. “Seriously Donnie?”
”Just making a point.” The soft shell clicked off the recording. “But sigh, Nardo you seriously need to start taking care of yourself. On average the human male should be consuming fifteen point five cups—or three point seven liters—of water per day, and with your turtle DNA plus your inclination to physical activity you should be drinking more than that.”
”Sorry, could you repeat that? I was busy sleeping.” Leo smirked. “I think my brain has been trained to tune out nerd stuff by now.”
Donnie clenched his jaw. “Nardo, this is serious!”
”Yeah yeah, I know. But it’s just a little training to get back in shape after that little med bay vacay—which I just realized rhymes after the words left my mouth. I’m a poet and I don’t even know it.” Leo joked, but Donnie didn’t even crack a smile.
”You were in a coma, Nardo.” The soft shell growled. “That is nothing to joke about. You almost died.”
Leo faltered slightly. “Right, yeah, okay there’s that little detail…”
”None of us are going to let you run yourself into the ground.” Donnie glared at his twin. “You need more food, more water, more sleep, more—“
Suddenly Donnie’s wrist tech beeped, and the soft shell sighed before clicking on the notification. He squinted at it with his heterochromic eyes before grimacing. “Deep sigh, there’s trouble in Witch Town.”
”Well that’s no good.” Leo happily ducked away from Donnie and almost skipped to the door, relieved to be out of the conversation. “Looks like a job for New York’s own heroes…”
”What… scowl, Nardo! I wasn’t finished lecturing you!” Donnie huffed, and Leo rolled his eyes.
”Come on DonTron! The city needs us!” Leo held up a hand. “Scout’s honor we’ll talk when we get back.”
Donnie rolled his eyes. “Nardo, that’s your left hand and therefore an invalid vow. Try again.”
”Is it? Well too bad we’ve gotta go now!” Leo darted out the door, ignoring his twin’s disgruntled clicks.
Hey, you wouldn't happen to know around when you'll post the next chapter of 'the light in your eyes' hmm? Asking for a friend of course, I'm totally not obsessed with this au, hahaha, nope, not me... 😅
Words cannot express how EXCITED am! The usage of canon is GENIUS and this fanfic proves exactly why @nerdyboiyeet is one of my favorite ROTTMNT fanfic authors! :> Also the new chapter's last bit shocked me I literally did not see that coming!? :O
