We are the illusionist duo Will and Matt. We recently performed on stage at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts which is Canada’s largest softseat theatre in Toronto. The performance was for CNTV on national television. It was a crazy experience and you can watch below!

Look back at 2014

2014 has been an unbelievable year for me.

I Got to meet and perform for my celebrity crush Sever (Skye Sweetnam) from the band Sumo Cyco *Photo with Skye Sweetnam

Helped organize an event called prescription 2 Rock and got to meet and perform for Dale Russell (former member of the band the Guess Who)

I volunteered with some friends to help package 1 million meals with the Onexone charity alongside Simple Plan, Magic!, Alyssa Reid and Kardinal Offishall

 I had the opportunity to hang out with and perform for my favourite band Simple Plan in the VIP section before their show. It was an amazing experience to have them come up to me excitedly wanting to see magic. I also got to perform for the band Magic! At the same place right after, they were also unbelievably nice. They both put on an unforgettable live show.

I started performing street shows (busking) 10-13 hours pretty much every single day (it didn’t rain). Through this I met hundreds of new people, became friends with many other buskers and performers and got to try new things.

A busker named Jordan Kells and I became good friends. Halfway through the summer Jordan and I began to partner up in our street shows, we found it more fun working together and we were both passionate enough about our art forms to enjoy performing ridiculously long hours nearly every single day of the week, sometimes we’d even go full weeks.

While I was busking I apparently had Adam Sandler watch a performance when he was visiting Toronto but I didn’t see him, but I did however run into Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue.

I attended a magic camp I go to every year, this is a place where I get to meet many successful magicians and learn from them. This year the big guest was actor and magician Steve Valentine (From: Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie, Spider Man 3, Mars Attacks! + more) (Appeared in: The Big Bang Theory, Hot In Cleveland, Perception, Supernatural, Anger Management, NCIS, Monk, House M.D., Boston Legal, Criss Angel Mindfreak, Just Shoot Me!, Charmed, Married With Children + more)

I traveled to Detroit to see Eminem and Rihanna perform live for the Monster tour.

After coming back from Detroit I performed at Busker fest and ran into magician Billy Kidd from the Discovery Channel TV series, Magic of Science: Breaking Magic.

Once school started up again I started hanging out more with my friend Tiffany I really liked her and cared about her, we did almost everything together; went to concerts,Nuit Blanche, saw Cirque Du Soleil, , I dragged her out to juggling clubs and nightclub events hosted by my friends promotion company ‘My Ahnanas Promotions’

   I had feelings for Tiffany and almost lost her because of my fears of having a close relationship. I knew I didn’t want to lose her and managed to tell her how I felt before it was too late and now I am lucky enough to call her my girlfriend. She is always there to support me throughout my career goals and knows the worst and best sides of me and still loves me for who I am <3 We both enjoy living life to the fullest, partying, trying new things like; skating, rock climbing, carving pumpkins as well as simple things like cuddling and watching movies.

My girlfriend dragged me out to see her favourite band Ghost Town, which was an awesome show and we got to meet all the band members afterwards, I even got to show them a bit of magic.

My hard work paid off since I caught up with my friend Jaime who has started her own company called My Ahnanas Promotions. Jaime has always supported my magic so we have started collaborating together and have lots of big things planned for after the New Year.
