@maudesdilemma
what does wiping your ass with wet toilet paper count as? and don't act like you haven't been there we all have
honestly the biggest thing that made me stop engaging with radical feminist spaces online is that people want to blame everyone besides men for misogyny. They'll blame straight women, bisexual women, mothers, any woman who has ever had a heterosexual experience, women who aren't as radical as them, women with male friends, women with male bosses, women who do beauty labor, religious women, rape victims, even say that God or Nature ordained misogyny and there's no escaping it so we should all just give into it or kill ourselves before actually putting any blame on MEN
every time I log on here its just "bisexual women are responsible for misogyny and people who like animals are evil and we need to eliminate all life on earth" fuck radblr omfg
Arenât you the ones who wanted their sex changed on all their documents? This is the result
physically, in modern day design, children are recognised as not merely âsmall adultsâ. designs take into consideration their softer skulls, pseudo-kneecaps, extra bones, underdeveloped immunity system, different ways of processing food and even breathing. not to mention obvious proportional differences.
even when proportion is less of an issue, pre-pubescent and older minors have physical differences taken into consideration - different organ processes, skin issues, lack of strength, and different sleep and nutritional needs.
further, design for the elderly is massive - fragility, muscle weakness, lack of dexterity etc.
all this but still, medical, safety, and health equipment and advice for women is just designed for âsmall menâ. next to no consideration is given to the differences between women and men unless it directly involves reproductive organs.
you may think many of the above are obvious differences, but are women having breasts not also an obvious difference? because regardless, in car design and CPR dummies, breasts are entirely forgotten about. teaching CPR for children is absolutely standard, but for women (50% of the population, mind you) is rare. children have special seats in the car, or may not be allowed in the front seat for safety reasons, but seat belts arenât designed with womenâs breasts in mind, resulting in women dying in more car accidents.
as a child, i was told endlessly that i needed more sleep than adults. I was never told that adult women need more sleep than men. i was told endlessly how children need extra calcium and vitamin D. I was never told women need nearly twice the iron intake as men.
womenâs bodies make up half the population and every single new human life is dependant on them. Itâs absurd that male bodies are always the priority when women are literally the only reason humanity can CONTINUE. it is absurd and borderline self-sacrificing for society to continue neglecting womenâs health and physical differences.
remember like 15 years ago when black bloggers were talking about this exact shit, 'digital blackface', white internet users appropriating images and clips of black people and using them as cartoonish exaggerated expressions of absurdity or high emotion. straight line from minstrelsy to your reaction gifs and nobody fucking cares any more. white people just decided not to acknowledge it and it went away, just like every other time black users have ever tried to criticise any aspect of online culture.
i really think this tweet is onto something

It's absolutely cruel to women in general to have gender neutral bathrooms replacing women's rooms, but it's downright unfathomably evil to do this to little and teen girls, especially in schools.
Imagine being 9 and getting your first period, bleeding all over the toilet, thinking you're dying, and having your male peers in the room with you instead of just other girls who can get you cleaned up and comfort you, telling you what a period is and that you're safe.
Imagine being 12 and having endometriosis, curled up on the toilet in agony on your lunch break at school, and hearing the boys in the next stall over making sex jokes (or worse - laughing at your sobbing).
Imagine being 10 and having no way to hide the fact that you changed your pad from the boys in your grade who will then go on to tease you and say you're bitchy and hormonal if you fight back.
Imagine being 14 and trying to find a moment of reprieve from the boys sexually harassing you, only to have them follow you into the bathroom and record audio of you urinating.
Imagine being 6, just entering first grade, and having an older boy kick open the cubicle you were struggling to lock.
Imagine being 17 and having your male peers crawl under your cubicle, phone in hand, camera app on.
Imagine being 15 and having nowhere to be with just your female friends to cry about heartbreak or harassment, or even just to be with girls alone to laugh and joke in peace.
Lack of sex segregated accommodations in wartime prisons are considered a human rights violation by the Geneva conventions for a reason. This is psychological torture towards our girls. It's evil. Truly fucking evil.
people think "in a perfect society males would not be sex pests, so bathrooms could be gender neutral" and they come to the conclusion that bathrooms HAVE to be gender neutral for us to be in a perfect society, instead of males fixing their evil behaviours first
In a fantasy world where male violence doesn't exist we wouldn't need single sex spaces or rape shelters or prisons. But we don't live in this world. We live in the real world where we have to have these things.
âOh you want equality dose that mean i get to hit women now bcs we r equalâ âdose that mean i get to be in a 1v1 with a womanâ is the dumbest thing men say like u dont rly need equality for that u do it anyway and why cant men form a single thought without it being abt violence when it comes to women
There are entire Reddit communities called things like "Equal Rights Equal Fights" and if you look at the content they post there, it's predominantly video clips of a woman lightly shoving a man in the chest, and he then punches her in the face hard enough to knock her to the ground. That is no equal fight, but this was never about equality. What they want is some kind of excuse to beat up a woman without consequences. They want to invent a scenario where they are somehow the hero for brutally beating a "naggy" woman.
if you ever feel powerless and invisible, remember that there were always female revolutionaries, fighting for the world to change. coming from different times, places, backgrounds and cultures - what they all had in common was the desire to liberate themselves and fellow women from what was forced on them without any thought.
it's a blatant lie that they love to push on history lessons and documentaries, showing us the all-male leadership on both sides of every conflict imaginable. women were always there, standing up for those who had their voices hushed.
yumakawa kikue, magda portal, petra herrera, lakshmi sahgal, blanca canales, kathleen neal cleaver, constance markievicz
just to name a few. if you have the opportunity, take time today to read up on them, their causes and work. you are never alone, for they were fighting for your rights too.
A British one penny coin from 1903 defaced by the Suffragettes.
but above all, one must not concern oneself with the opinions of people who censor the word fuck
I fink when men complain about how people don't dress up for work or the airport etc they really mean women I don't think they actually care about if other men wear suits they just want to see women wear pencil skirts and heels 24/7
liberals defend pornography's "goodness" more than pornographers themselves, who openly admit how degrading, dangerous, and harmful porn is.
Rule 1 of Misogyny: women are responsible for what men do.
