Trans is used like 'not identifying with their sex' ('assigned gender at birth') and cis is used like 'identifying with their sex' but for me it's just like fake and real. You can't 'identify' with your sex like you can't identify with the rest of your body. You might feel disconnected or distressed because of some body parts but the body parts themselves aren't the problem. The disconnection/distress is.
Sex doesn't determine interests, hobbies, emotions or thoughts either. Sex isn't part of personality but it can affect personality like developing the fear of men because of bad experiences or getting conditioned into certain stereotypes but those personality changes/traits aren't triggered by biology, they're triggered by trauma and social expectations
I think that plays a big role for gender dysphoria but instead of saying stuff like 'you might feel disconnected to your breasts because you gained bad experiences because of them' they say 'it's because you're a man' and that's honestly sad and dangerous. It takes away the responsibility to protect girls and women from gaining bad experiences (because of their sex characteristics) and feeling bad, getting depressed or traumatized because of those experiences since 'they can identify as a man' instead
