I’ve been seeing some “Trans Brain Sex” articles circulating lately, and have been thinking today about how the concept of brain sex always loops back around to misogyny and homophobia.
Not because there are no average differences in the brain based on sex, and regardless of whether or not trans identifying people have average differences in their brains. It’s because the whole concept makes people think of masculine women as something other than women.
If having a “more male” brain makes a woman actually a man, then they see any masculine woman as actually a man on some level. Sometimes I think it’s even more backwards than how conservatives think about gender.
Someone could do an MRI scan of my brain and it could show that I’m “trans” based on structural “masculinity”.
Actually, I assume it probably would!
We all know who’s being targeted by this, who stands to be fucked up the most by it.
We all know that a lot of gay people have brains that are different from our hetero counterparts, shifting more towards male-typical traits for many lesbians and vice versa.
And this may also be true for women with high testosterone levels due to medical conditions.
Are they all trans too? Does that justify messing with their body’s hormonal system even more?
Does being gay, or having PMOS, justify fucking up our ovaries and atrophying our reproductive organs? Does it justify putting us at higher risk of cardiac health problems?
The whole damn thing is misogynistic and homophobic, and any woman with a brain or a real medical degree knows better than to believe it.
It’s so frustrating when a person who is obviously bisexual (but might identify as otherwise) says “I just can’t imagine caring about the genitals of a potential partner, that’s weird!” in response to homosexuals speaking out against the general push to date and be intimate with transgender individuals of the opposite biological sex.
You don’t care about the biological sex of your partner. That doesn’t make homosexuals transphobic penis/vagina obsessed fetishists. You’re literally framing homosexuality as an immoral and gross vagina/penis fetish because it doesn’t align with your sexuality. It’s not wrong just because you can’t wrap your head around it because it doesn’t align with your bisexuality.

It’s so surreal to see how kink completely changed the way women talk about sex.
