I think what would make Amelie's story even sadder is if Colt was nice to her at the start of the marriage but turned on her later. He tried to woo her , give her gifts and she did fall in love with him but after Felix was born and Colt got sick , he blamed her alongside Felix and started abusing her. Lot's of Abusive relationships start with the abuser being nice to the victims before mistreating them later.

People don't think Colt was kind to her at the start as in the Representation play , Amelie looked sad during their wedding. However it was an arranged marriage , she didn't meet Colt before the wedding. She likely assumed Colt was going to be like her father and their marriage would be an abusive one like her parents and thats why she was sad. However after the wedding Colt could've charmed her and acted caring to her causing her to lower her guard and fall in love. Of course we know her marriage ended up becoming like her parents and Colt did abuse her but at the start , it might've been different.

This scenario being true would make her story even more tragic as she grew up in an toxic household with her parents in a bad marriage. She thought Colt would've been the one to giver her a happy family and marriage but instead found herself in a terrible marriage with an awful husband

NOT defending Colt at all. It's good that he is gone and Felix and Amelie are finally free from him and can be a family.

Interesting take Anon. Honestly Colt is an asshole for blaming Amelie for getting sick as it was he that created Felix likely as a fetus in her womb so it's on him not her. Also did Amelie even consent to that or he and her family force her too ? You say he turned on her when he got sick but he could've turned on her when she wasn't getting pregnant or he treated her badly from the start.

Amelie is mostly a side character so we really don't know what her marriage was like. It hasn't even been confirmed she was a victim of marital abuse only heavily implied.

I can see why this scenario would've been tragic for Amelie as she thought she could finally have some happiness in her life only for Colt to snatch it away from her when he betrayed her. He really is the worst father and worst husband in the show

Agree with Suki and Zoe. Especially how Zoe becoming a Vigilante to help people in need like the Kyoshi warriors helping poor people in the earth kingdom. Felix and Zuko while both having bad relationships with their fathers , Zuko's redemption was done properly while Felix's was rushed.

Any theories do you have about Mr Lee - Zoe's father. Do you think he will appear in the show ?

Yes he will appear - 10 seasons are confirmed and they have plans for 14 seasons. It bound that he will show up at some point.

As for when he will appear - I'm guessing at the earliest Season 7 or 8. He shows up in Season 7 or 8 moving to Paris after retiring from the Military. He finds out his daughter has been taken by Andre and tries to gain custody of her again. It's a long and hard battle with Andre using his connections as former mayor to bribe the jury and judges. However the fury plot is exposed this season and Andre not having learnt his lesson from Chloe points his finger at Zoe and blames her for everything while acting like he is blameless. Zoe runs to her real father crying and Mr Lee wins custody of her.

As for any theories surrounding him. I headcannon he was the former shadow for the sword in the kingdom. However he realises the kingdom's real intentions and defected. He works with the heroes to defeat them. His character is a mix of Iroh and Shadowsan from Carmen Sandiego.

I like this. I also headcannon it was actually Zoe that inherited Audrey's temper especially how she acts in her vigilante personna. Chloe exaggerates her temper and attitude to get Audrey's approval.

Azula wouldn't have an ambigious ending and would be put in jail after her breakdown

Zuko won't be in the final fight against Azula it will be just Katara

Also it would be Katara to defeat Ozai not Aang

Ozai get's redeemed last minute and ends the war becoming a better firelord.

I still think it would be Aang to defeat Ozai and not Katara . However the things you said about azula and Ozai isn't inaccurate. Also Zuko like Adrien being left out of final fight might've happened.

is it just me or does fury look like a lot like sparrow from the New York special ? Jess was apparently Zoe’s only friend so maybe she based her vigilante design off of Sparrow to honor her only friend Jess. Honestly when I first saw fury in sleeping system I thought it was sparrow .

Yeah same especially the hats. I want to see sparrow in Paris and she sees furry and gets confused why there is two of her.

It’s funny how Damocles gets treated like the child and Chloe gets treated as the adult by everyone in the show, when it comes to superheroing. Damocles attempts at superheroing, no matter how insignificant, get treated especially by the Paris media as though he literally saved the world a dozen times while everyone knows his true identity. But when it comes to Chloe, everyone’s like, “Ugh! Move on, it’s over!”

He obviously didn't learn his lesson as we see him let Ray off the hook once Mr Pugnant threatens him. Chloe gets treated more harshly by the narrative than actual adults like Andre and Mr Damocles.

chloe and Noe’s relationship is so interesting in a bad way like he’s enabling her and she’s treating him like how she treated Andre but like she’s so obviously just a tool to him and their dynamic makes me uncomfortable but also interested. Praying they do something interesting with it and not the generic ‘Chloe is evil and this isn’t her being used and manipulated bla bla bla’ stuff

It's interesting a lot of the male figures in her life screwed her over in some way. Andre , her father , raised her to be a brat and didn't take responsibility for her behaviour instead abandoning her to her mother who he'll know will abuse her. Gabriel , an uncle figure and basically her second dad , groomed her for her plans and discarded her in the end of Revolution. Noe , her brother , while pretending to care about her only sees her as a tool. Yes theres Audrey too but it's important to note it's the male figures that influence her a lot.

Astruc has a problem with Chloe and shows

his concept of "some people never change" sounds good in theory but this is a teenaged girl with abusing parents. Who you already showed us can have good qualties and you expect us to not root for her and root for her downfall?

and also the refusal to aknolwdge that the adults in her life failed in her uprbing and making her take all the blame is even worse.

its laughable. the new season is so good but you can see how much the writting quiality dropped just to bash Chloe. she desrves better than this.

Honestly it's better the secret about Gabriel being Monarch is kept from the public because if Paris found out the truth, Adrien would be a social pariah. They can't attack Gabriel because he is dead so they go to the next closest thing , his son Adrien who is still alive and is assumed to have known about his fathers activities. We see his fans constantly chase after him , now replace those fans with an angry mob ...

Anyone remotely close to Gabriel will get harassed by the public. Natalie. His parent who haven't seen him in 20 years. Felix and Amelie. Imagine if the angry mob tried to break into Felix's home as well as the Agreste mansion. Even Emelies parents will get hate. I can see news reporters interviewing them accusing them with knowing Gabriels plans with Emil rightfully denouncing Gabriel and say him and his wife had nothing to do with this. The media will scrutinize them , The Zoo network will spread smear campaigns against them and destroy their reputation. They'll become public enemy number 1.

Yes anon. Adrien will not have a normal life. That's why if Ladybug told Adrien the truth in the london special , he would be willing to keep quiet about it because the truth coming out would not only ruin his life but also the lives of his close relatives.

Felix though he was going to die in Season 4 episode 9 when Senti Gabriel said all he has to do is snap his fingers. Hell Gabriel was willing to kill his own 14 year old Nephew. I honestly don't understand how Felix can go along with Ladybug's lie about Gabriel. How could he see the man , a member of his own family none the less who was willing to murder him be remembered as a hero and not do anything .

Maybe off screen, LB and Argos came to an agreement. LB let Felix keep the peacock miraculous in return for him keeping his mouth shut about Gabriel.

Theres no way people defend Andre, I refuse to believe people look at the way the two interacted and think this is normal for a father to allow his daughter to behave. Hell, he probably incourages Chloe to treat him like a "husband"(Gross.).

I've seen people defend Andre because he ships Zoenette (I'm not kidding). You know how a lot of single mothers see their son as a replacement husband after their husband leaves. Andre and Chloe could be seen as a gender swapped verson of this. Andre encouraging Chloe to act like Audrey because he misses his wife and is obsessed with her.

Also Zoe calls him dre dre. Did he encourage her to call her that ? Does that mean he is now spousifying Zoe like he did with Chloe ? Has he even changed at all ? When Zoe is revealed as fury I actually wonder what Andre will do

Question. What would be the possible consequences, legal consequences, of the whole Andre swapping Chloe for Zoe? Because unless he's magically her legal guardian I don't think he could get away with it. Like, if Mr Lee wished so, as Zoe's bio parent, he could present charges against Andre and he could lose everything. Or if Andre decides to take it further he could get involved in a full custody battle, in which the Chloe/Zoe swap would come to bite his ass since it could prove Andre is not a fit guardian for Zoe. IDK, I really want to read an Andre/Audrey salt fic of them suffering the consequences of their bad parenting, and possibly losing both Chloe and Zoe to the Child Protection Services

I'm not sure about the specifics on how Andre got custody over Zoe, whether by being the step parent through his marriage to Audrey, or if Mr Lee is unavailable or unfit to look after Zoe, or if it could be argued that he outright kidnapped her in some way such as through obtaining custody rights through shady means. Due to MLB's shitty continuity and wonky pacing, I can't tell how many months it's been since Zoe arrived in Paris or how long she's been with Andre in the theatre but it's definitely been months since she left New York.

Quick question, has Mr Lee ever been mentioned directly in canon, hell, has his name ever been said? I'm racking my brain but I can't think of the show ever acknowledging his existence. He could have died and that's why Zoe's in Paris for all we know since she never talks about him or is shown to still be in touch with him. If he's alive and at least attempting to be there for his kid, the months-long radio silence since she moved to Paris would send him into a full blown panic and the discovery that another man he has zero connections to has somehow gained full custody of her without his knowledge or consent would send him steaming to the most trusted lawyers he knows to fight tooth and nail to get his daughter back.

If Mr Lee decided to go through with a custody battle then a lot of the shit Andre pulled as mayor and how much he fucked up Chloe's development would be dragged into the limelight for all the world to see.

If it's before the S5 episode where he leaves office he'd try to throw his power around and inadvertently prove how corrupt he truly is, thus losing the custody battle and all political power in one fell swoop while most likely getting thrown in prison for his actions as a corrupt mayor. If it's after S5, he wouldn't have the political sway to cover his past misdeeds anymore so the full extent of the means he consistently failed Chloe would be exposed and examined in great detail, leading to the courts granting Mr Lee full custody of Zoe to avoid the same thing happening to her.

In both versions I can imagine Mr Lee taking Zoe back with him to New York to keep her as far away from Andre (and most likely Audrey but she was never really bothered about Zoe to begin with) as possible. If Audrey's included in losing custody over Chloe along with Zoe, I could imagine Mr Lee asking if he could take Chloe as well to give her a fresh start in a place without the negative stigma she has in Paris and to be the parental figure which both Andre and Audrey refused to be for years.

Fuck, I can imagine a scene where Mr Lee learns the true extent of Chloe's abuse and mistreatment while alongside his lawyers building the case and he can't stand the thought of leaving her behind in a city that despises and blames her for Andre and Audrey's years of shitty parenting while ignoring their involvement in her behaviour. It's then that he decides he's not leaving Paris until both of his girls are safely under his custody where neither Andre or Audrey can ever harm them again.

Andre still might have connections to powerful people as former mayor. Lots of politicians who left office still have influence and money. Maybe he tries to bribe the lawyers or get help from powerful friends showing how he hasn’t changed at all from his days as mayor. Also people say Mr Lee is a bad father for not contacting Zoe , maybe he did several times but off screen . Zoe is only a side character not a main one like Marinette so we don’t see everything that happens to her. Not ruling out the possibility that he was a terrible parent though. As for him fooling around with a married woman , maybe he didn’t know she was married and it was just a one night stand.

I do like the idea of him getting custody of Zoe and helping Chloe. Him being an uncle Iroh like character. We barely know anything about him so anything could happen . Rich people being bad parents is going to get old so have him be semi-decent would be a change
