you, parker, and your friends are all hanging out at your friend rafe’s place. the group is spread all over the room, some on bean bags, some on the floor, all playing some board game that y’all dug out of his closet.
“god, i’m so hungry.” one of your friends whine, to which another friend groans and places a hand over their stomach.
“ugh, i’m so fucking hungry. we should order some food.”
and soon the whole group moves to the phone in the living room, rafe ordering some takeout over it. he asks everybody what their order is as he gets to them. but when he gets to you, parker already knows.
she tells him your exact order down to the t, including every detail you usually say when you order on your own. parker looks genuinely unfazed by it too, as if she were asked what colors were in the rainbow. to which your friends exchange confused, somewhat teasing glances which make your cheeks go pink.

collegeau!parker who continues playing rugby/football throughout college and earned a scholarship, but eventually drops it as she moves up because it starts to distract her from her studies

it’s now officially been 48 hours since you’ve gotten more than a blink of sleep.
your classes for the day are wrapped up and you prepare yourself to take a quick power nap and then to get back to studying as you walk down the halls to you and parker’s dorm.
you walk past it a few times from drowsiness, confuse the door numbers, but eventually get the key in and walk inside.
parker’s sat on the couch, watching something on the tv. something sporty, you can’t think too hard about it right now.
she calls something out but you don’t respond, don’t even tilt your head in her direction or “huh” her like you always do.
she keeps her eyes on you, quirking a brow as she watches you fumble around. setting your phone down, taking two steps, and then looking around for it in a confused haze. walking to one area, pausing, walking to another, and then walking back.
who do you actually think you’re fooling?
you grab your bag and lift it up to tow it to your room when her hand wraps around it—suddenly on the other side of the room—gently pulling it away from you. finally, you look up at her, and she’s already staring at you.
“y/n.” she starts, her voice leaving no room for argument. “when’s the last time you’ve gotten full sleep?”
“two days.” you answer honestly, like you could ever lie to her when she’s being so firm.
“mhm.” she hums, setting the bag back down on the table. “go to sleep. some actual sleep, too, not a little power nap. i don’t want to see you for at least six hours.”
you don’t wake up for another ten. but when you do wake back up, she’s wrapped around you.
