I'm seeing more and more content creators posting real life observations and drawing radical feminist conclusions, later citing that they do not have a specific ideology but instead follow the nuances of reality. Evidence based, you get it. I get it, I see myself in a similar way with science.

This nuance always applies to discussions regarding the patrichachy, because critiquing men is "not all men" but males as a class. Class analysis allows us to discuss men more openly online without immediately being shot down and it has been working.

They claim to be lead by reality and observation, but these creators, in my opinion, still fall into the trap of not affording women the same nuanced understanding.

A distinction that some women make between themselves and radfems, is that [unlike radfems] they are open to critiquing women, acknowledge that women are not all perfect, and they believe in holding bad women accountable. And all of this falls in line with what they perceive as observing reality and acting with evidence.

Her central dogma is that she observes reality with nuance. But I couldnt help but wonder why it was not assumed that these "other women", a group of women whose principles are much of the foundation of the content being created, are not also acting with nuance.

The creator used an example of a woman who threw her baby out of a window in order to allegedly focus on her career, and I think that it is such a good example because it is text book not only in terms of 2nd wave analysis, but also because it was the subconscious choice of this creator.

A woman, a mother, kills her baby, she is a top executive career woman. If you know, you know this is a triple crime. She failed her role as a mother when she didn't care for her child, she failed her role as citizen when she killed a human, she failed her role as a women by having that executive job, she will be punished for all three, and at the time of posting had been convicted and punished in law, yet she is an example of a woman who might be seen by some as "above criticism".

This creator could be observing the reality that radfems do not discuss female violence in any way similar to how we discuss male violence, but we have nuance too, and I think it goes above some people heads.

Multiple things can be true, but not contradictions. The idea that women are not being criticised or held to accountability is a contradiction of reality.

The law punishes bad women, and people people criticise women who kill their babies, even inspite of evidence of concealed pregnancy and mental health issues, which the above case has. The issue is that it is not enough for people.

That quote that points out how men will debate the philosophies of reality, meanwhile women live it. That's what I see here.

Accountability is not a symposium.

What is left for us to actually criticise with female violence ? The mortality of throwing babies out windows ? If it is wrong for women to poison their In-laws ? We do discuss many aspects of female behaviour that are harmful but we will not punish women for the crime of "failing" womanhood.

It is all well and good observing reality, discussing reality, but unlike other ideologies, we also accept reality, and that includes the reality of why violence is bad.

My closest male friend was gay, and he had mostly straight male friends. Everytime there was guys night he would go off with them and bro out, and us girls would be left out even though we were all good friends. Everytime we would plan a girls night he would insist on joining us and would even push back when we attempted to hold our ground, citing how he was "one of the girls". When we said he wasnt a girl, it was just met with. "But I am" and he would switch to being slightly flamboyant.

I was having a great start to the morning about to teach a workshop to this group of children aged 5-6. The girls were heading into the classroom and choosing where to sit, wanting to engage at the front and happily inviting each other to sit together, which from their positive behaviour, I had absolutely no issue with.

Two teachers come in and look at each other as a little boy takes his seat at a desk. After exchanging glances they say "shall we.." and gesture at the seating. They then make this little boy get up and swap places with one of the girls who was sat at the front, each of those girls from the table now is sent to a separate table and every single boy who comes in is instructed to sit next to a girl, and every girl is guided to a seat next to a boy.
