It just feels so important to me how Harlan Ellison was inspired to write I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream by the rise of cold war technological advancements, how it was a comedically horrifying depiction of the end of the the line for that kind of technology.

It feels so important to me that The Amazing Digital Circus is being made in the rise of creative technology, when we have AI taking over creativity and but failing to understand it, and how this show depicts a comedic yet horrifying extreme for what that technology could theoretically become.

I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream was a warning, it said "if we go down this road, we're all doomed." The Amazing Digital Circus pays homage to that warning with its own modern twist. They both say "nothing good can come of this."
