You are a necromancer. You’re constantly asked by your fellow townsfolk to revive lost pets, loved ones, all the sort. Everyone greatly appreciates the work you do, and you happily comply to all of your requests. One day, a small child comes up to you, opens a book, and points at a picture. “Them, please.”

Being a necromancer is...well tiring sometimes. Believe me I love helping people-but it's really all the same. Sons, daughters, fathers, wives, the most requested are pets, unsurprisingly. I've had this power since birth, my mother using the last of her strength to transfer it to me. Sadly when a witch passes there's no bringing them back. I lived with my uncle most of my life, though since he was traveler I rarely got to see him, so I spent most of my time alone. I tried my best to make friends but given my...quirk no one really wanted to hang out with me. What can I say people don't like things they don't understand, even most of the parents were scared of me. Witches and warlocks aren't uncommon anymore but necromancers are rarely heard of, so something so new and odd warded them off. As I grew older people became more comfortable with the idea, still no one really talked to me, except to ask for favors. Being the oh so generous person that I am I helped them out in exchange for a good amount of gold. Today was as normal as any other day, a couple people stopped in asking to bring back a loved one and I complied telling my prices and such. It was an hour before closing when a peculiar little girl walked in. She couldn't be older than eight, normally kids her age are accompanied by a familiar. I should explain, a familiar excorts the children of magic users when their parents can't, so seeing such an interesting looking child without one was strange. "Hi there, are you lost?" I asked concern starting to creep up me. She didn't respond and merely opened a sketch book and pointed to a crudely made drawing with a photo of the, I assume, same man glued next to it. "Him, please." She whispered in a slightly scratchy voice. As soon as my brain processed the picture my heart sunk into the floor. I stuttered out a "Are...are you sure?" She finally looked up at me and the second I saw her eyes I knew I was in danger.
