Lemormaid Relaxation. Finished back in late June
Sample animation using characters I’ve been designing for some time now for a potential graphic novel series.
Today was Tyson Hesse's birthday. For those who don't know, he's a comic book illustrator and animator whose been involved in making adaptations of Bravest Warriors, Sonic the Hedgehog (he did the 2D animation shorts for Sonic Mania), etc, and he's had success with his original works like Boxer Hockey and Diesel. He's one of my biggest influences in the artistry world , and I've wanted to show my appreciation through this poster-like design.
Here he comes, hoping to CEMENT the meaning of true power, it’s Concrete Man! My entry for the Mega Man 30th Anniversary Collab, hosted by Andrew Dickman (Please check him out, he does a phenomenal job with his work)
Boston editorial travel poster that I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I’m glad I got to experiment more with the visuals. :)
My first ink drawing in months, thought I’d go for spot colors this time as an experiment with a limited palette.
Here’s a little holiday pun for your troubles. Happy fourth everyone!
Still in the middle of projects at the moment, so I thought I’d share this two-page comic I made for my Sequential Projects class titled, “The Bizarre Mystery of the Giant Deer-Sized Hare King of Dorset” (Try saying that five times). I especially had fun with the second page, playing with light vs shadow and using limited color in some panels. Quite the experience for myself.
Posted this on Twitter and Instagram, but wasn't able to get to Tumblr due to my job. Anywho for those who may have missed out, yesterday, around 20 years ago, there was a special little 3D platformer by the name of Banjo-Kazooie, and it took the industry by storm. Happy anniversary to the series and the folks behind it!
A little taste of bounty hunter for your weekend.
Not exactly a fan of the show, but I figured these guys would look good with the Mega Man touch.
I've wanted to do a collaboration of gouache, watercolors, and markers, so what better suitable subject matter for the task than that of an aquatic character-- Mipha, from Breath of the Wild.
Come take a dive with Tsuyu. ...as long as you don’t mind the tongue.
Had this on my back catalog for a few weeks, so it’s about time that I shared it.
First attempt at a comic book style for a full piece. This game just keeps on looking better and better, and until I can get my hands on a Switch of my own, I’ll be sure to keep this as one of my top next purchases.
