i finally updated my wip! we've got just one chapter left, but while i work on that (hopefully not for another 3 months)...
i'm indecisive asf so what fic should i write next

3 times duke was written off as the normal one, & 1 time he wasn't
smth cass-centric cuz i'm still getting the hang of writing her pov

got my laptop fixed so ive been writing a lot the past few days, but the art gods visited for like 4 hours and we got this - it's not perfect but yknow :)

I wanted to draw some of my favorite batfam duos and this just happened to be on my mind
can I just say how insane it is to escape living in an absudly sheltered and controlling environment as a teenager whose only real social media was pinterest, and then becoming an adult?? finally gaining access to ao3 and tiktok and tumblr and actually getting to, like, be in fandom? consume all the content I could for a year straight after 18 years of... not?
and now it's just crazy that I've posted things? people follow my fic and actually enjoy my dumb writing, people even like my little doodles.
it's truly validating when your first real steps into fandom are so overwhelmingly positive. everytime I receive kudos, or likes, or reblogs I get straight up giddy, like no way these absolute strangers with no binding obligation to offer me love are doing so anyway? why would you do that? am I actually talented? since when?

people who don't experience hyperfixation don't know what it feels like to hyperfixate so much on something that it becomes not only your subject of obsession but also your source of happiness and literally the main reason why you still keep going; literal source of strength and life.
