Today sees the release of Marvel’s HOUSE OF X / POWERS OF X oversized hardcover collection, and caps a project I’ve been involved with since March this year; working with Marvel and their creative teams—spearheaded by writer Jonathan Hickman—on the complete rebranding and relaunch of their X-Men franchise. The House of X and Powers of X kickstarted the franchise refresh that included a brand new “X” logo mark design and a new design language, developed with Jonathan Hickman, that runs through all the books to date.
For this collection I revisited the design of the series and designed a brand new publication package—including multiple Pantone colours on the dust jacket.
The book is available at all good comic and book stores.
Here’s a small selection of my design on the book; including the covers, book casing, and interior pages.
The full set of my #1 Design Variant covers for Marvel’s Dawn Of X relaunch of their X-Men franchise. Collect them all at your local comic shop.
