like yeah aotc is a fuckin disaster of a movie but consider these many iconic moments:

the sand scene

obi-wan’s disgusted ‘what?’ when anakin starts mouthing off

that bit where anakin nearly gets trampled to death by a space cow

the entire coliseum fight

that part where obi-wan gets a scratch on his arm that apparently completely incapacitates him for the rest of the fight

‘good call my young padawan’

obi-wan doing shots in the middle of a chase scene

like where would we be without this movie

But this is Obi-Wan Kenobi’s best movie, without question:

His face every time Anakin ruins everything in the first ten minutes of the movie

He catches Anakin’s lightsaber and sets it gently in the passenger seat so that it can stay safe

Obi-Wan never once seems more than mildly inconvenienced throughout this entire affair of being dangled, punched, hunted, imprisoned, executed, slashed, and mangled, simply because he watched his master get kebabed by a supposed-to-be-extinct Sith Lord back when he was twenty and spent the next ten years teaching Anakin “I Let You Fall Another Fifty Stories Because I Needed a Car That Was Flashy Enough For My Dramatic Needs” Skywalker and there’s really nothing left that this galaxy can throw at him.

So white men, making fun of white girls is like, a seminal part of culture. Comedians have made entire acts about it. 

Men of color, making fun of things beloved by white men is one of the most subversive acts that can be committed.

OK something that weirdly enough my DAD noticed while watching:

Whenever she’s talking to or about the doctor, Yaz always says stuff like “I want more time with you” or “I can’t stand being without her”. Most other companions mentioned the traveling, the experience of meeting other species and exploring space. But Yaz, she only cares about being with the Doctor. the person.
