No but update: the lady who found him told us he followed a group of kids and she was like "hey kids maybe don't take a stranger's dog on a day long hike not knowing where he's from". But like let's be real he saw them jumped over the fence and decided he was not a retired old man with back pain anymore but was on a mission to herd those two legged baby sheep back home wherever that may be

Here in the Moscow region, we have a bird rehabilitation center called "Corvid Nest." They run social media and often post pictures of rescued animals. They posted a photo of a baby heron couple days ago, and I fell in love with this dinosaur.

unfortunately very true. Doing Better does not always mean never being upset or never being triggered or never having trouble. often Doing Better means experiencing those things and being able to keep going/cope healthily/move on. if you’re in a bubble with no sensation, if you’re numbing yourself out, that’s not what recovering really is. it won’t help you have a happier life it’ll just make your world smaller and smaller until you can’t fit anywhere anymore. gotta learn to make peace with the hard stuff too, that’s the only way to keep going
