FULL WITCH BURNING SCENE (edited into one) | The Vampire Lestat Episodes 3 & 7
i think people in the comments are misunderstanding. creator isn't saying armand didn't want to be in the relationship and was forced in it by louis, creator is saying that armand was forced to play ARUN is their relationship. the dynamic mâitre/arun is what armand didn't want. and for people claiming otherwise, I feel that the face armand did as soon as louis called him arun on the bench is proof enough that he didn't exactly want it, but only accepted it cause louis only offered that. louis used his trauma to earn a certain control over armand. we know that armand was actually the one truly in control and all, but whenever louis called him 'arun' he was stripped of all his agency. whenever he's arun, he can't help but feel like he must obey. we see this because he was about to 💀 daniel, but once louis started talking and all he stopped just as he'd ordered. sorry for the yap and sorry if there are any mistakes, I hope I made myself understandable
And I’ve included one of the comments here—before someone comes along and comments based on a misunderstanding, trying to make it look like we’re saying Armand was forced into a relationship with Louis, when that’s not what we’re talking about at all! We talk about the fact that’s Louis try to using Armand's trauma for trying having a form of control on him. And even if Armand was really the one in control, I doubt the dynamic instaured by Louis have never an impact on him and his behavior some time, like the comment prove it.

The Vampire Lestat— "The Failures" (1.07)
#guy who apologizes for things he said in his own head to himself
The first time Ilya and Shane wrestle I think Ilya is SO confident because he has simply forgotten that he can only throw Shane around and pick him up because Shane lets him. He goes into it all cocky and smug and Shane immediately bodies him so hard he blacks out. Reality check of all time. 100% fatality rate no survivors. When Ilya comes to Shane is desperately googling what to do if you wrestle your boyfriend so hard he faints. Ilya is so pleased it's criminal. A core memory for everyone involved
Out of all the heated rivalry analysis I’ve seen I’ve never seen someone mention that after the all star game Shane no longer drafts and deletes texts. He says what he intends to say the first time and stops editing and second guessing himself and it’s one of my favorite details showing that their dynamic has changed and no one talks about it
i’ve talked about it before but their temperature differential would be perfect for cuddling
actually it would be safe and comfortable for them both because of the power of friendship…
