Basic information out the way: Hi, I’m Scarlett. I’ll probably write a bit on here but we’ll see. I’ve kind of lurked for a while, will probably try to be a little more active beyond my roleplay accounts. My main fandoms are: Percy Jackson, Marvel, Harry Potter. I’ve kind of semi-lurked in the DC fandom by which I mean reading fanfics without knowing any canon (blame DC/White Collar fanfics for that one). Please feel free to send me asks about any of my roleplay characters either to this account or their accounts. I would love to talk about my babies.

Modern AU, to be precise my up until now not yet mentioned Normal Modern. Everything is mostly the same, except it's in modern Araluen and Will was raised by Halt and Pauline. Yes, haltine. I know. No cralt in this au!

One day, right before school, the car decides to not work that day. After a bit of back n forth on the dangers, Halt brings Will to school on his motorcycle anyway. Pauline doesn't like it, but there's no other solution.

Horace found it pretty cool of Will. But that's not important to the plot.

Time skip to a few months later. Pauline goes on a diplomatic mission somewhere far away and will be out of the cify Redmont for a few days. Will manages to convince Halt to bring him to school on motorcycle again, cuz he thinks it's really fun. Halt agrees.

Will gets to school. Gets to class. All is well. Then, during his second class of the day, a random teacher gets him out of the classroom. Will is confused. He didn't do anything wrong. Teacher bring him to... police who are searching for him. Will gets terrified. 'WHAT DID I DO?? I DONT WANNA GO TO JAIL'

'Oh kid, that's not gonna happen. We are just here to inform you that your father got into an accident and is currently in the hospital.'

On his way home, Halt crashed because some lunatic couldn't watch out.

So yeah :D

Will's fault! And he knows it. Pauline gets home early because her husband is currently on the brink of death. Welp.

Twas a real jumlscare, but don't worry, Halt survived! And never rode another motorcycle again :3

This made me think of something that happened to my uncle either right before or very shorty after my cousin was born. He got in an accident on his motorcycle and broke multiple bones in his body. He recovered but has not ridden a motorcycle since. Mostly cause he doesn’t have a working one.
