I am very happy that the Greek Ministry of Culture finally made some work towards showcasing the overlooked link between Ancient and Modern Greece: Byzantium. The ministry has been restoring the Palace of Mystras, once the stronghold of the Despotate of Morea, for the last 42 years (insanely slow) but now the work is finally complete. The interiors of the palace are finally open to the public and they now house a museum about the late Byzantine period. The highlight of the museum's exhibits IMO is the careful reconstruction of clothing worn by emperors, empresses, despots and other imperial officers.
