A tribute piece of crossover fanart for Knights of the Light Table's work on what's now two of my favorite music videos of all time: Starlight Brigade and Neon Odyssey. I was so moved and inspired by their latest animation, and the pure artistry and passion that went into it, that I had to draw something to celebrate both with a shared theme of space.
Thought it be cool to team up Strive and Pyke in one image. They're my big favs and I really wanted to do them justice while pushing myself on the background to hopefully capture that wonder and awe of space. :)

I contemplate the happy faces of people around me here in Ireland and reminisce about the happy normal life my family and I had before the war. A life that turned into a distant memory for us and was replaced by an unending series of horrible nightmares.
Unlike my family in Gaza, people here have access to drinking water, all types of food, electricity, and a roof over their heads. Above all, they are safe, and I cannot help but wonder if they genuinely do appreciate these blessings in their lives enough.
People seem relaxed and laughing wholeheartedly around me in Ireland. I wish I could laugh too, but I am crushed way beyond recovery on the inside. I was evacuated by my Irish college after five months of living the horrors of war in Gaza. I hope you will never know what it feels like to live in constant fear and worry and be horrified by the most sickening and scary nightmares every single night while you are far away from your family in such circumstances.
When did my people in Gaza cease to be human beings worthy and deserving of a normal life? Has it become normal now for my family in Gaza to be starved and killed while the whole world is watching the genocide? If that is the case, then you will have to excuse me if I seek every avenue to bring them to Ireland and start a new normal life like all people here around me.
I was assured by the Irish Reugee Council (IRC) and lawyers in Ireland that there is hope I can reunite with my family in Ireland. In difficult times, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For me and my family, you are literally our light and hope for a better life.

Do not forget that discord is still planning on moving forward with age verification and has only "delayed it" until "the later half of 2026." Clothing company Patagonia is currently sueing drag queen Pattie Gonia for "irreparable” harm to their brand.
To be clear; Pattie named herself after the region in South America.
So Pattie is asking people to politely ask Patagonia to drop the lawsuit.
I'm extending the invitation to all of you, because sueing a drag queen for 'infringement' in the current political cultural landscape is vile.
Especially a drag queen who has raised millions of dollars for non-profits, uses her platform to raise awareness for climate activism, and fully aligns with Patagonia's apparent climate-conscious mission statement.
They're claiming they're sueing for $1. They're actually asking her to stop using her name, and pay over $1 million in legal fees. They're straight up harassing her.
In contrast, drag queen Jan Sport has a Jansport bag line. It's that easy to just... work with a queen.
Anyway. Be respectful(ish), but feel free to be annoying on Patagnoia's socials, asking them to 'DROP THE LAWSUIT'
The implication that a corporate entity owns the word "Patagonia" is disgusting and blatantly colonialist.
Second, an outdoor exploring brand not teaming with an environmental activist with a massive global platform is blatantly homophobic/transphobic (conservative people discriminate equally).
Third, the company not demanding money is explicit evidence the lawsuit is not about potential lost revenue, it is purely about the potential negative image of potentially being associated with the queer community.
I hate to post this, but my best friend @vonclosen very suddenly suffered a stroke today and had to be rushed to the hospital, and later life flighted to another hospital because he has a blood clot in his brain.
They've been sick for 8 months at this point, trying to move out of their black mold infested home, hospitalised and unable to work for at least a month now, and were diagnosed with stage 3 (now seemingly stage 4) Lung Cancer just 2 weeks ago. And now the stroke on TOP of all this.
I'm incredibly scared for them and their partner with all that's been going on the past few months. Hell just the past few WEEKS even. They need as much help as they can get.

Hey all, reblogging this in light of recent news. Faust and their partner JJ (@aggravatetheaxe) have been my close friends for a couple years now. We’ve only been able to meet in person once, but I don’t know where I’d be without their endless compassion, humor, wit, and all the nights we spent together talking and supporting each other through life’s bullshit.
Any amount helps. The recovery and especially chemotherapy process for something like this is long and arduous. Faust just recently graduated with their bachelor’s, and is one of the most intelligent, persevering people I know. They’re only 28—they have a whole life ahead of them to live.

PSA for everyone who doesn't know, explained simply
this is NOT because of blocking screenshots, it's because of HOW streaming sites use your computer's hardware to optimise performance, which means the thing rendering the video and the thing capturing your screen aren't the SAME thing. so they can't talk together.
you can fix this by going to your browser settings, searching for "hardware acceleration", and turning that off.
