I feel really guilty that I haven't really posted an update in a long while, but I've been dealing with IRL stuff that I don't feel comfortable divulging currently, Even though the brunt of it has already come to pass.

I took a break from this one for a while, and it's just been on the back burner whilst I focus on other projects (and my health). I also felt like I could do a better job with making new versions of the Pride Mandalas, so I basically just rebooted this entire project once I felt ready to do so (which was around May of this year). I built up quite the backlog of Pride Mandalas, so I'm thinking of uploading them onto Tumblr, Wattpad, and Bluesky.
I might still upload the old mandalas, but I'll be referring to them as the Legacy Pride Mandalas. And I'll have to mention that they're old artwork.

Given everything that's been going on with Redbubble, I'm not sure if I feel comfortable with having my artwork on there. So I haven't done much with that site. I'll be looking into alternatives for stickers and other merch.
Currently one of the main options I'm looking into is Teezr, as it looks promising (especially with it's anti AI views). But it mostly has options for clothes, so that's something to keep in mind.
I don't know if I'll keep my artwork on Redbubble, as that's all tentative atm. So I might make a mini update on that later.

I'm going on hiatus on this project, don't know when this will leave hiatus. I might make a big post detailing the why on this, but all you peeps need to know currently is I just need a break from the project. I took a mini hiatus to work on my other writing projects, but I want to get back into writing for this project. I'm not sure what I can reveal for this one yet, because I want to finalise lore and work on concept art for this.
I don't really like the old writing stuff that I made for this project, so I might just rewrite it at some point. I feel like I can do a better job conveying some of the ideas I was trying to write with my current skill set. It won't be perfect by any means, but at least I actually wrote it myself.

This project fell by the wayside as well, because I was mostly working on some original stories, my FNAF Remix AU, and Raven Empress AU. But I want to start posting stuff related to this AU. Which will probably be lore bits and artwork that I've been making for this AU.
I'm working on a Pride illustration for this AU, and it involves my main main selfship. I might end up posting WIPs of this one, but I'll be working on it in the background. Don't know when I'll finish it, but I've been working on it on and off since early June. I meant to have it done by the end of June, but I was dealing with a lot of IRL stuff during that time.
I really feel motivated to work on this project, my original writing, and the Pride Mandalas. Alongside the secret big stuff. I also haven't finalised a name for this AU, but I'll be open for suggestions as soon as I post some lore bits for it.

This was a really old side project that fell to the wayside. I didn't loathe working on this project, but it just stopped being prioritised (due to IRL stuff and working on other - more important - projects). It was still fun to theorise about media that I liked (even if some of it turned out to be wrong). And who knows? I might use those theories as the basis for future stories.
I might still post my old Tumblr exclusive theories to Wattpad though, because I still want to archive them somewhere. Even though some of them were already debunked, they're still interesting ideas which could be used for future stories.
I might just make separate posts (and Wattpad journals) on newer theories that I've been thinking about. I don't actually know if said theories are canon, but they're food for thought.

I know that the name for this AU is Raven Empress AU, but it's because Lilith ended up as Empress. Not necessarily because I ship her with anyone, let alone Belos.
(To be clear, Lilith is Aroace in this AU. So I don't ship her with anyone in general, and she didn't marry anyone in this AU. Also I think that the basic premise is answered in the FAQ, but I'll post it here as well.)

Belos dies several years before Luz steps foot on the Boiling Isles, and Lilith becomes Hunter’s Regent for the first 6 months of her reign, due to some extremely convoluted succession rules.
(To be clear, Lilith didn’t marry Belos. She just happened to be head of the Emperor’s Coven at the time of Belos’s death.)
I might actually end up making this canon in some form for this AU (both timelines). But the main difference is how it'll end up canon in both timelines (it's really complicated sorry).
Also, yes, Luz would literally have this exact reaction to this specific scenario in both timelines. That part will definitely be canon in my AU.
So I'm not planning on talking about IRL stuff much here (or most of my side blogs - except the personal one), unless if it's extremely important or if it directly affects how my blogs are run. (In the Canon!Timeline, it was last seen at Gus's place. Locked in his toybox for safe keeping. Once it was found again, Hunter kept it on his bed. Occasionally bringing it with him to sleepovers.)
(I'm debating on whether it'll be too big for him to hold as a baby. But I'm imagining him as smaller than the plushie for scale. Also the eyes are soft, so it would be safe for an infant/toddler under 3.)

These are the succession rules according to Boiling Isles law, they’re extremely simplified.
1) Emperor’s spouse
2) Emperor’s eldest child (or nephew, in this case)
3) Golden Guard (Tristan, deceased)
4) Head of the Emperor’s Coven (Lilith Clawthorne)
Since Belos wasn’t married, the previous Golden Guard was killed (Tristan), and Hunter was 2 when he died. Lilith initially took over as Hunter’s Regent for the first 6 months of her reign.
Is Belos a Bastard in this AU?

I do have a couple of big things happening this month, a funeral for Popa and an MRI. So that's why things are slower than usual, and it's the main reason as to why I'm utilizing the queue.
