Pixel post dividers for everyone! It's not much, but feel free to use them if you'd like. I don't know the ideal size for these, so let me know if they're too tall. I can make them a bit shorter next time.
i should really play my jeskai zombie typal commander deck some time.
it's genuinely such a stupid and silly idea.
it's a tokens deck that uses some zombie synergy cards from innistrad (for blue) and amonkhet (for white)
and then it has cards that make changeling tokens, embalm cards, eternalize cards, amass cards, and some regular-degular zombies
but like. it's a tokens deck. it contains fuckloads of token synergy. you could make it infinitely better by cutting the zombies theme and just making it a tokens deck.
here's a link to it. its literally so dumb
Prava of the Steel Legion & Kraum, Ludevic's Opus - Commander deck (2) Commander • (4) Anthem • (1) Clones • (3) Creature • (1) Discard •
also made a dumb teval deserts deck
it's just a land sac deck, but sultai deserts.
i also tried to minimise self-mill. sultai loves to mill itself, so my goal was to just use some strategic self-mill (like surveil, or cards which synergise with the deck but Also have a self-mill tacked on)
it's ALSO silly
Teval, the Balanced Scale - Commander deck (1) Commander • (1) Copy • (6) Draw • (1) Enchantment • (2) Finisher • (37) Land • (1) Landfal
i called it Squandered Deserts bc it does have one of my fav cards of all time, squandered resources. just cause.
Got bored and made a font
It's called badfont. It's a bad font.
here's one more I might make more

The plague has come. You cannot save everyone, but you can save at least one.
ok, since i realized not everyone's going to trust a random upload site, here it is on itch. marked as in development :P
Save One in a Dying Town: THE SURGEON
The plague isn't just coming—it’s already here. In THE SURGEON, a grim and atmospheric solo RPG, you play as a medical professional trapped in a town ravaged by disease. You know you can’t save everyone. Your goal is much more intimate: keep one person alive until help arrives or the pestilence finally breaks.
Part resource management, part dark journal-building, this game pushes you to balance your dwindling supplies against your own fading energy.
The Doctor is In:
Create Your Surgeon: Roll for unique traits like Analytical, Sleazy, or Religious that grant mechanical bonuses—or burdens.
Choose Your Heart: Are you driven by an Inspiring Heart that fuels your stamina, or the Dark Heart of a cynic who saves tools at the cost of their soul?
Advanced Medical Mechanics: Track the health of five critical areas: Brain, Lungs, Kidneys, Limbs, and Lymph Nodes. Use surgery to save them, but beware—tools break and infection is always a roll away.
Gameplay Features
Tactile Survival: Uses a standard deck of cards, a d6, and tokens to track organ damage on a printable human anatomy sheet.
Strategic Actions: Spend your limited actions each turn to explore the city for supplies, care for your patient, or perform life-saving surgeries.
The Search for a Cure: Gather knowledge from old colleagues or buried family secrets to develop Penicillin and win the game.
Deep Narrative Prompts: Draw cards to trigger memories of your past, encounters with town "witches," or the haunting sound of children’s nursery rhymes in the street.
Can you weather the storm, or will the exhaustion take you before the plague takes them?

originally made as a submission for 52/52/52 game jam. It was inspired by the card five of spades which is, apparently, accompanied historically by the image of a hand holding a knife. It means severing... but not just emotional. possibly, also, surgical.

I've been using this tool called tumblr-utils to back up my tumblr blogs. it creates a locally navigatable archive of a given tumblr url's posts, which is more convenient than the post soup you get from tumblr's native blog export feature.
what that means is that I have a folder on my computer with the name of my url with an index.html file in it, and when i click on that file to open it in a browser I get a simple page with a list of years and months. selecting a specific month will send me to a list of the posts i made or reblogged in that month, similar to tumblr's own archive page. the contents of the post including images are stored locally on your machine.
It can also make a separate index file that organises posts by tag, which is great if you're a consistent tagger, but it will list every single tag you've ever used so it can take a while to find the tag you're looking for in the list if you're a habitual tag commentator. generating the tag archive also takes a while depending on how many posts have to be processed.
you can make it back up any blog as long as it's not set to private. I have backups of both my main and sideblogs and it keeps them in separate folders.
it's had some trouble going all the way back to the start of my main blog in 2012 just by sheer volume of posts, but by making it fetch posts from one month at a time I've been able to go back to 2015 (that's tens of thousands of posts), which was good enough for my purposes.
it might be a little scary to use if you've never touched the command line before, but there's both text and video instructions to set it up and using it is just a matter of typing the command and letting it do its thing in the background.
This document has a really good guide for setting it up, along with some other options for backup. I've been using tumblr utils for a while myself, and I run an incremental backup once a week.
Google says it’s no different than checking IDs at the airport.
This is just another form of censorship, control of what we can/can't see and engage with, and another means of getting our private information.
Alternative forks of AOSP (Android Open-Source Project) which are not maintained by Google and will not be affected by this:
LineageOS (I use this one)
Graphene OS
Functionally they are virtually identical to stock Android. Android began as an open-source project, and these versions are built off of that.
Fuck Google.
for those like me who cannot install alternative android forks on their phone because the phone in question is thoroughly unrootable, I would recommend downloading anyapk on your phone while you still can. In their own words:
anyapk is a lightweight Android application installer that bypasses Google's developer verification requirements by using local ADB (Android Debug Bridge) connections. Smoothly install any APK file on your device without restrictions, gatekeepers, or corporate approval.
If you're reading this after Google's lockdown date and are unable to install anyapk the regular way, there is a method outlined on the github linked above which tells you how to install anyapk on your phone by plugging it into a computer with ADB installed on it. Once you have anyapk on your phone, you will not have to do that ever again (unless you delete anyapk off your phone)

"Sideloading" is the rentseeker word for "being able to run software of your choosing on a computing device you purchased". There is no reasonable case for an operating system developer having a say over what programs you run on your hardware.

do you want to play tomodachi life but don't have a switch, $60, or just don't want to pay nintendo $60?
here's an all-in-one site where you can download everything you need to emulate it!
Floralith beta — downloads and setup.
also, with an emulator, you can directly screenshot and record your game, and even mod it! add custom hair parts! import photos directly! remove region locks! emulate it!!
everything?
everything! this site will walk you through downloading the ryujinx switch emulator, the firmware and keys needed, and the nsp game file for tomodachi life ltd.
is this safe?
the files are all directly downloaded from this site, so there's no third party to worry about. i didn't make this site - it was created by PotentialAd943 on reddit, who claims they scanned their files clean before hosting. just to be sure, i scanned my pc after downloading too. it all came up clean! but it's good to be aware of pc safety, especially when pirating. it can't hurt to do a scan of your own to be sure!
how much pc knowledge do i need for this?
you should know how to download files, how to make and manage folders in file explorer, and how to navigate a program's settings menu.
any settings i should change in ryujinx?
here's some i recommend checking before starting the game:
I'm reading a book named "A Guide to The Correction of Young Gentlemen Or, The Successful Administration Of Physical Discipline To Males, By Females" - essentially, a fantasy femdom BDSM book, written in 1924 by Alice Kerr-Sutherland but first published in 1991.
It has some genuinely fascinating stuff to say about gender, and I feel like it's worth looking at/thinking about in the context of Historical Gender Stuff. This 100 year old book has the following to say:
"The truth is that some young gentlemen would rather they had been born young ladies: they cannot admit this openly, because in the male world to confess as much would lead to instant ostracism if not worse; but they cannot conceal it either, and by preferring the company of girls, and soft, feminine clothing, and by flinching during the rough pursuits to which all boys, willing or no, are occasionally heirs, they attract opprobrium."
"Such boys weep too readily for their fellows' tastes - weeping is a great crime among boys unless it is generally admitted that circumstances left little choice - and are hounded for that reason."
"Just as there are girls who had rather been boys - we all know examples of the type - there are boys who, in a kinder world, would have been born into the gender more suited to their dispositions."
"Many young people of this sort are riven with a guilt they do not deserve but have been forced, by the conventions of society, to adopt; they are confused, ashamed and thoroughly unhappy."
"The ideal thing to do would be to treat these cases on their merits, send them to girls' schools, and so on. (The same thing should happen with those girls who would rather be young gentlemen.) Boys of this sort are girls in any case-in all respects save one."
"Most subjects of this sort have a secret name - a girl's name."
100 year old femdom kink book understands transmisogyny better than the average tumblr user

This girl has been circulating a lot around the social media pages and subreddits dedicated to Cringe Music because of her song NEED A CIG, which is admittedly very jarring and drenched in several layers of irony. But upon further research, I have decided that I like her style. She deserves to be defended against those who are incapable of distinguishing between truly bad Bad music and good Bad music. This is just eight bars and a hook but it goes hard as fuck

The Doctor's assistant Peter Purves was invited to a screening of the episodes in Leicester.
first assigned reading in my textile history class is about orientalism and the political appropriation of the paisley print and kashmir shawl by the british written by a south asian researcher
"in this essay i would like to offer a way of reading pattern and textile history as political and ideological" sickos yes ha ha ha yes . jpeg
dropbox link to the PDF of the reading i just uploaded bc it's institution paywalled otherwise <3 let me know if you have any issues downloading it
actually re joking about being ‘the piracy friend’. do yourself a favour and stop relying on tumblr masterlists that are full of broken links and dodgy websites and just bookmark r/FREEMEDIAHECKYEAH’s piracy wiki (backup).
it’s the most comprehensive resource i’ve ever encountered my life and it’s also got so much extra stuff like decent free vpns/antivirus/adblock, a massive list of free software for almost every purpose you can think of, AND a list of custom search engines that mean you can search every site at once or you’re looking for something more obscure (this is how i seem to always have a link to literally anything)
there’s also this rentry, which i can vouch for less because i don’t use it so much but does have info on installing cracked versions of the more popular antivirus programs if you don’t want to pay but also don’t want to trust the free options lol
