guys let’s congratulate my (former) misogynistic racist homophobic friend

(we made him a feminist, and he’s lowkey at the LEAST biromantic…so yk may but was just cuz he hated himself, also we just bullied he racism out of him)

anyways today we were walking up to lunch and he was quite a few steps behind us

so my friends and I have “short” skirts (well it’s a couple inches above uniform standards but also…I saw a girl who’s skirt was short enough that u could see half the shorts she was wearing over top her tights)

And he decided to walk up the stairs with his chin to his chest so he wouldn’t accidentally look under our skirts

which good for him! He’s trying!

also I didn’t realize that some people might be able to see up our skirts when we walk up to lunch (our lunch hall is on an upper floor, idk why but it’s a walk from where my friends and I hang out)

Anyways ig chivalry isn’t dead, even if it’s manifesting in an awkward reformed guy who lowkey needs a lil bit of tact!

the best fanfiction you've ever read was written by a woman in her 40s before she made dinner for her kids. it was written by a teenager after school when they should've been studying for a history test. and a barista came up with the idea while they cleaned the espresso machine and busser fact-checked it on their break and the post-doc edited between writing grant proposals and the nurse apologized for typos in the notes after a long shift and behind every drabble and one-shot and multi-chapter fic there is a person with a wonderful and interesting and chaotic life and it is such a privilege that we get to be apart of it because they decided to do this thing we all share, for fun.
