Flashback Friday 1989. I started training in the basement of my parents house after picking up a Muscle & Fitness at 7-11. I read that damn magazine dozens of times trying to absorb everything I could to develop a physique like those Gods I saw in those pages. At first, I trained with my fathers sand weight set. Then every Christmas and birthday I would ask for more equipment. Power rack, a Joe Weider bench, vertical leg press etc. I never stepped inside a real gym until my first year of college and then ventured out into the local bodybuilding gym in Waldorf, MD The Bodyshop. 2023 is upon us all….. Begin it wisely, maybe with some constructive introspection and truth bombs about yourself that are hard to swallow. Swallow them, digest them, then shit them out and make positive changes for yourself and those you love and the world around you. Maybe put on different glasses/filters and begin to see good things rather than negative, and revel in complaining with other sheep about things. My inner circle is small for many reasons. You are made of ”energy” and molecules. Radiate positive, you get positive in return. Vice versa with negative. Simple Universal truth you’ve heard time and time again. The journey of Life is a short one, create the most genuine, authentic, compassionate, fun, loving, and minimalistic (devoid of materialistic fake happiness) experience you can…..
