Doctor Who finale Spoilers! So many Spoilers!!!
Finally been able to compile my thoughts from this episode, and while the ending makes me sad that we don’t get Ncuti for longer more than angry, (I am in fact a Rose/Bad Wolf lover so I can't quite find it in myself to be mad at it) I still have a lot of questions. So in no particular order...
What was all that with Susan and Rogue? Was that story dropped during reshoots?
Speaking of Susan, is the implication that the Master and his screwing around on Gallifrey during the timeless child/cyber-master incidents screwed up the Time Lord's ability (or lack thereof) to reproduce? (Yes I know the loom things technically exist I'm choosing to ignore them at this moment cause they've never been introduced in the show and the diolouge implys that tech wouldn't work in the way their supposed to anyway)
Or are we to assume they've never been able to have literal biological children? And what does that mean for Susan/ the many many times the Doctor (including 15!) Have said they have actual children?
Why does Ruby remember things that others can't? Or notice things that even to Doctor didn't notice?
I can't help but feel like there was a plot point between Ruby and the Rani/Mrs Flood that got cut because the dialouge seemed off? Sorta...
What actually happened when the Doctor "shifted" reality back because it's clearly not "back" as intended? Or are we just in a different universe?
And! When he did that why does it seem like he can't remember Belinda's actual reason to get home before the change? (Her nursing shift is the reason btw, the Doctor seems to remember the "mavity" thing but just goes along with it)
Why Poppy specifically? What's with all the Poppy imagey/references anyway? Was it just build up for Wish World or something else?
Why is Poppy no longer the Doctor's daughter? (aside from plot convenience of not having to cart around a child) Is it reality "righting" itself?
Were there Rose hints in the episode or did I miss them? Of course aside from the comment about sad blonde companions.
Why Roses face? Is she the Doctor? Bad Wolf? Rose herself? A secret fourth thing? Why do I have a feeling it’s something to do with the theme of love?
And damn it why no other classic villains? I really wanted a Ncuti dalek episode 😭 it would’ve been so fun!
And finally! Why Belinda? Why did she look like Mundy? The Doctor stopped looking for answers because (actually shocking) Belinda asked, but that doesn’t mean we ever got one! Or that it makes any sense!
